The thing is how could Ollie sound so young? It’s been years since playtime shut down so the orphans would be old, I think that the prototype is mimicking a child’s voice to lure us, plus how would he be able to see the prototypes real shrine?

There is a theory that I support by CutCafe that states that Ollie is not the prototype, and is actually the advanced security system of the entire factory. Some evidence of this is that when the doors open like in chase scenes that that’s Ollie, and that the security cameras in chapter three that are turned on are him watching us. Also he has a child voice because we see evidence that supports that children were not only put into toys, but machines too, exampled by the make a friend machine in chapter 1 (CutCafe explains it much better if you want to check that out).

I think Ollie is actually Bobby Bearhug. He was one of the only critters that didn't have a death scream on his cutout and he might be using the name Ollie so that the others like CatNap and the prototype don't know he survived. His cutout and Ollie's voice are similar with Ollie's being a little more somber than Bobby's but that could be due to his experience over the last 10 years. Also when you leave the playhouse, Ollie mentions that he doesn't want to lose anymore friends to this place, seemingly referring to his other critter friends that stood up to the prototype and lost originally which resulted in them dying or so we think.

Ollie doesn't sound sarcastic to me cause he sounds like that literally the entire game. But also he sounds like one of those pre-recorded toys like a toy phone or that toy with the arrow that would turn to an animal after pulling a cord and would say the animal noise. Of course clearly Ollie wasn't recorded but it's to show he's has an incredibly limited range of tone, something that the Protoype doesn't considering he was able to replicate the tone of the guy experimenting on him perfectly.

i think theres more to be said about the smiling critters merch companies are making that most KZbinrs talk about. its very obvious why catnap was chosen to be made into merch as he's the main antagonist of the third chapter, and dogday seems to be the last surviving protagonist smiling critter who revealed key information about playtime co and the toys within, but why are they making merch (and focusing so much on) craftycorn? there's lots of theories that craftycorn is the one that did the grafitti in the factory and maybe even sent us the letter in chapter 1 since shes the creative and artistic one out of the bunch. Still, i think this is mob entertainmetn's subtle way of telling us that the significance of craftycorn, or even the smiling critters in general, won't be limited to chapter 3. Maybe some if not all of the smiling critters (emphasis on craftycorn since they're making merch on her even though shes not seen as a bigger body ingame) will show up as antagonists in future chapters. this could either be a decent video idea or I'm just waffling right now and sound absolutely stupid but that's my thoughts i guess 😅😭

The whole theme park thing confuses me, I mean it doesn't even make sense for Playtime to make one so deep underground where regular customers can't enjoy it, it makes more sense to build a theme park where the masses can enjoy it and profit from it. The idea of finally seeing how the toys were made in the labs makes way more sense, and in the Catnap checkup vhs tape Leith Pierre says the prototype's home was in the labs, and we're going to kill the prototype now so it would make even more sense to go to his home.

Maybe the could have a smoke ability that allows them to use the red gas and cover a lot of area with it, it could slow down players and make them see catnap as the nightmare form. Of course this would come with a disability such as them being slower which would make sense since catnap NEVER runs in chapter 3

The reason normal CatNap Jumpscares you instead of nightmare CatNap, is because it’s just a hallucination. In other words, he’s making himself look more scary and intimidating by using the Red Smoke. Just like a real cat!

We have to remember that not only does the Red Smoke gives us nightmares when we sleep, it also made us hallucinate things that we see isn’t real, or the enemies we face is much more terrifying than real life when we breath the smoke.

(Please read this whole thing) Once we get to the labs I hope that’s the moment where all hell breaks loose. Where we finally just get swamped by bigger bodies and see bigger CatBee Boggie Bot Candy Cat all those guys. One of my biggest complaints with Poppy Playtime is that we get monster like Bunzo Bunny PJ-Pug-A-Pillar and the Whack A Wuggy’s yet we don’t get any backstory about them or the children that got turned into them. Also I have a theory that the smiling critters aren’t dead. We can assume that where we found DogDay is where CatNap used to be kept considering the tape for him was found right outside, we can also assume that that’s where CatNap kept he Smiling Critters while they were eaten. But look around that area, there are only 6 cell’s compared to the 7 smiling critters CatNap would have ad to hang up. The possible smiling critters that could be alive are, Crafty Corn Picky Piggy Hoppy Hopscotch and Bobby Bearhug. In all there cutouts they didn’t scream like the others did so that’s maybe an indication. I’d say the most likely to be alive is Picky Piggy, not only is there a lack of a cell for one of them I think she broke out, went feral and ate the lasts of her friends. Crafty Corn Bobby Bearhug and Hoppy Hopscotch have a chance but I think Picky Piggy has the biggest.

i wouldnt say project playtime is dead (or was dead). Just no updates + no new chapter release. If you look at the game, it was being updated with new phases, but the playerbase didn't really jump. Once Chapter 2 hype died down, the game just passively declined. Chapter 3 was released, and now people are hyped again + new players are playing. Now the game just needs an update. It is in mob's best interests to release chapters within a year + update playtime to retain a higher playerbase. Although, to be fair, it isn't even officially released, as I know a lot of people (such as on the poppy playtime discord) who simply say they are waiting for the full release at this point.

Personally, i don't think Ollie is the prototype at all. Not that the objectives seemed different- just his overall behaviour. He seemed to try and keep us at ease where he can with his tone and how he phrases things, and he even made us reason with Poppy, and her actions. And secondly, Poppy was just so at ease and friendly with him- she normally wouldn't be at such ease knowing (likely at least, bc she seemed to be there at the the hour of joy and knows a lot about the prototype) that the prototype can mimic voices- and is pretty good at them too. She TRUSTS him(or her) and Ollie TRUSTS her (and kissy). They are against the prototype.(With all the evidence). Plus the last line kinda confirms this.

the labs and the prison isnt the same because on a tape a worker says to catnap or theodore that catnaps home is the prison and then he mentions that the prototype lives in the labs so they are not connected

I think that Poppy is the main villian and prototype is her assistant as we know that prototype was the one who started 'The Hour Of Joy' but why? That's because poppy wanted him to do that as she wanted to take revenge for killing her and making a toy and because se is small she needed help from others. That's why she took help of prototype who was the first toy and also wanted revenge. Prototype was the biggest and most powerful toy and was like a leader or king of the toys that's why poppy chose him and conducted the hour of joy with all the toys including Kissy Missy as we see her in the 'Hour Of Joy' VHS tape. If kissy Missy is good why would she kill people? Also now prototype feels guilty and wants to kill poppy or something that's why poppy send a letter to us as we were a worker and guided us to kill Huggy Wiggy, Mommy Long Legs and Catnap ( the 3 major characters ) which will leave no obstacles to kill prototype and poppy will survive and Ollie is prototype and has guided us a lot in CH-3 but when poppy cam to know that prototype wants to kill her she tells him that Mommy Long Legs is betraying you and taking Huggy wuggy's body ( ch-2 teaser ) to eat or do something with it that's why he kills her at the end of the chapter and similarly with Catnap and both the times prototype left us as we are a minor issues whereas Mommy and Catnap are big threats to him that's why he left us. At the end he attacked kissy and took her and maybe in ch-4 it will start like the elevator fell down and we reached 'The Labs' where we find him and do chases etc.. I also personally think that the Innovation and Th Toys section from playcare will be there and we might see the Sheep charector who might have a similar story like Catnap. What do you Think?

I'm actually hoping that Chapter 4 won't be the final Chapter, I'm hoping that Poppy Playtime will be able to last for at least Five Chapters just like many games that were broken into chapters/episodes.
