Glad you had a fun first off-road experience! If it helps, those two giant screws you put in the freedom top when you put it back on can go in the center console and be forgotten about for the most part. Same with the door hinge nuts. I think it's just to slow down thieves. I live in MN and park outside all seasons and haven't had any problems besides the same A pillar leak everyone has.

What a great first trail for ya.....we did Imogene in August 2022 and it snowed half way up....complete white out everywhere....when we came down, people coming up were like "where did the snow come from?".....they were blown away and couldn't believe we had a mini snow storm

We tried to do Paradise Divide up in Crested Butte again this year but ended up running into snow. Haven't gotten caught in a snow storm yet though!

Hilarious!!!!! One suggestion. It looks like you might want to let some air out of those tires? Even 5-10 PSI makes a big difference in traction and ride comfort.

I loved how even with the rain, you still had a great time. My first Colorado trail was Black Bear Pass into Telluride and after lunch, we did Imogene back to Ouray where we were staying. I highly recommend traveling the 3 hours west to Moab, UT. Your Jeeping experience will go to the next level. Keep up the great vids!

Imogene is a fantastic trail. We’ve done it multiple times.... in both directions... we are always rewarded when we do any trail around Ouray and also Moab.. Sedona was great as well. Jeeping can be addictive.....

Even the dog was telling them to put the top back on. :) I have the Sunrider on mine which just has two quick release latches and flips up. It's worth every penny.

The San Juan's has a way doing this to people. You should have gone on to Yankee Boy Basin. I discovered the area several years ago, and I visit at least once a year. The San Juan mountains are so majestic, just a different feel than the rest of Colorado.

Lol, not often do you hear offroader's say "make it quieter". Bought it used with a muffler delete, maybe someday I will spend money to make it quieter, but would rather upgrade other components first.

Why in the world would you buy a jeep like that? Build it like that and never take it off road how could this be your first off-road trip?? We bought the Jeep to tow behind our rv actually, and it came like this when we bought it. This video is just the beginning of our off-roading journey :)

We bought it with intention of flat towing behind the RV and getting out into nature while traveling. Have since done many trails (check out our other videos!) and have upgraded the front steering components on my own (well, with help from a buddy). It’s been a fun learning experience and it gets us around town on the pavement and off-road both very well so far. - Rian

We've surveyed a dozen people and gotten nearly the same amount of pronunciations! EYEmo, Immo, Emma - Gin, Gene, Gen. I like EmmaGene, thank you!

@@stayclass-c6138 you may have done a survey but what the majority thinks really doesn’t matter. Right is right and wrong is wrong no matter how many people want to butcher the name. The name of several passes in the San Juan’s have been mispronounced and misidentified. After 55 years of of driving these roads I should know something. Imogene is Emma-Gene. Ophir is Oh-fer and Black Bear is not a pass. It is BlackBear Road on Ingram pass. Being correct really does matter. It has gotten to the point that even the signs have been changed to misidentify BlackBear. I do like your videos by the way.

I’ll reference a tight knit group of old off roaders including my dad who have made the area their home and playground since the early 1960s. My dad was also a great student of the history of the area. I have been running the trails on 2 and 4 wheels regularly for 55 years.

@@raynold5156 in my book pronunciation is always a matter of opinion. From day one people pronounce names in Varying ways. I have never seen a patent or legal document claiming a certain pronunciation to be the only way. If you want to claim otherwise you can, but other people don’t have to agree with you. Free country and all that!
