Thank you for your videos! I don't learn solely by reading and struggle with some dyslexia so to be able to read along with your verbal lessons has been most helpful.

Excellent presentation! I read chapter 5 in the NASM textbook but was still confused. There are a few areas I need to know the concepts but I believe you helped me to understand them better.

Questions to those who passed NASM personal trainer exam.. Would it be enough to pass the exam if you thoroughly listen to this lecture and work through the practice questions, without having to read the massive NASM textbook?
@EliteCJI Жыл бұрын
Reading the text book is a process goal for a long-term outcome. You really should read the book. On that note, though, I couldn't understand Chapter 5 at all if I didn't watch this. I started through it. Understood nothing, started watching this, then decided I'd pause this at the end of every lesson, read the actual lesson, then it all made sense. Thanks for the video, Dr. Williams!

How can something in the ankle effect the neck?
@DrJeffWilliams3 жыл бұрын
If the ankle is not aligned correctly due to muscle imbalance, it will climb the chain. Eventually the knees and hips shift causing the lumbar Md thoracic spines to become out of alignment. This can lead to the Cervical spine becoming flat or a forward head position. This doesn’t happen overnight, but can occur as time progresses. I hope this helps.
