Hi ma'am i have a question, when we say hydrogen bonds occur between same base pairs what do we mean? as in the same typa bond like A with T repeating im confused

Same base pairs, as in the same pair. So A binds with T. C binds with G. Sorry english is weird/unclear sometimes. Please avoid that phrase if it causes confusion. Did i say that somewhere this video?

Kinda! I based my notes off past papers to help students! But some people require more reading, like in paragraphs, to understand things better. So it depends on you. Do what works best for you

Can you pls explain y DNA starnds are named as 3' and 5' ? Like how we determine it which end is which? By attachement of what?

the position of the carbon groups! notice how i count them clockwise from the O atom in the pentose sugar somewhere in the video. pentose sugar has 5 carbons. at the 3' end, the 3rd carbon is nearest to end. at the 5' end the 5th carbon is neared to the end.

It's an activated RNA nucleotide with 3 phosphates. When it is incorporated into RNA two phosphate groups are removed (so if is no longer ATP, it's AMP)... It works the same for U, G, C as well but the other nucleotides are not used as energy currency as much. You will learn this is in replication and transcription later in this chap

purine has 2 rings, pyrimidine has 1 ring. since purine always binds to pyrimidine, the DNA width would be always 2+1=3rings wide
