Ingvar Kreuger, the Swedish matchstick-king was a very interesting person during the 20´s and 30´s. His empire was gobbled up by vultures, his legacy was lambsted and it was said he took his life. Far more comprehensive than what this book gives us, but also far narrower in scope. If you're into fiction and guns, then I HIGHLY recommend buying a copy of Unintended Consequences by John Ross: stlccw.com/product/unintended-consequences-softcover/ This is the longest book I ever read (other than the Bible) and it's a page-turner, especially towards the end. Used copies are hundreds of dollars sadly, buying a new one for $65 sounds crazy but I assure you it's worth every penny.

Short were not informed by FDR /DC on/before Dec 7, 1941 so to assure war would happen.

What can a person do to not become a slave to compound interest usury? Simple, do not participate. Do not be in debt and live within your means. It's hard to do, but with discipline it can be done. Stop borrowing and in very short order there would be no currency, and there would be a demand to implement a better economic system. One that issues money into circulation as a medium of exchange that has no compound interest associated with it. A monetary system that is stable and without inflation. You're talking about Bromberg (Bydgoszcz) which happened after Germans attack on Poland, and Germans living there were attacking retreating polish troops. For example a member of the German minority in Poland - Ferdinand Lang - in his "Denkschrift an Herrn Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring", published in Bydgoszcz (Bromberg) on 01.05.1940, wrote: "(...) A front of unity against the Polish state was formed in Bromberg. In 1935 in Bromberg a memorial to the then Polish prime minister Slawek was drawn up, in which it was clearly stated, that we - Germans in Poland - stand on the ground of the National-Socialist worldview and that we will fight with all available legal means for spiritual assimilation with the worldview of the Fatherland of our origin. (...)" And here some excerpts about Nazi-sympathising organizations in the area of Bromberg, from a report by local Polish authorities dated 1937: 700 of local ethnic German minority members from the area of Bydgoszcz belonged to Jungdeutsche Partei as of 1937. Deutsche Vereinigung (DV) had many more influential members with pro-Nazi connections. Report by Polish authorities regarding the attitudes of local German minority citizens towards their Polish neighbours after 1934: "(...) Germans more and more often underline their affiliation to the Reich, they do not try to hide their contemptuous attitude towards Poles, they demonstratively use German language and Nazi salutations. Especially German youth, who are encompassed by German organizations, pastors and teachers with special care, being educated by them for nationalists and enemies of the [Polish] state, behave like this." 58,000 Germans killed by Poles you're quoting is number imported straight from Goebbels empty head. Bromberg situation and overall supposed bloodshed of Germans in Poland reminds me of Kielce, Cracow and so on "massacre (pogrom) of jews", which is totall bullshit.
