GYPSY TALES

Күн бұрын

Seth Enslow is really a man that needs no introduction. He is a true legend of the came and also a myth when it comes to two wheels. He was a pioneer in the freeride movement and then again in the distance game. One of the original Crusty Demons of Dirt and a guy who inspired a generation.

Seth and the Mulisha were a big influence on me in the early 2000’s I rode from head to toe in black gear, polished out the frame and swinger on my 01’ CR and decked it out with black plastics and MM stickers. I crashed so much trying to emulate these guys

Hi guys, a friend of mine sent me this link and can't thank him enough to dust off some memories; guess what I was working at Fox in 1997 in the design dept and indeed can assure you everything Seth said is totally correct about his involvement with Shift from the get go and Fresno Smooth movie etc... I'm surprised you guys didn't evoke the Crusty 2 video premiere in Hollywood blvd when the show turned as a huge riot, that was totally insane, everybody was there...(maybe a thousand people of the all industry) I was with the Fox brothers and you guys better believe Greg was sooo pissed off we didn't have a video cam back then! For sure no social media but trust me was the gnarliest thing I saw with cops all over the place, helicopter etc etc was sooo funny. Such thing nowadays would make worldwide headlines... Maybe it was better before social network indeed!

Wow - I was quite impressed here. I remember well the 'Crusty' era and all the madness here in Australia. To me Seth was just a junked-out/crazy. However, listening to him he is very intelligent, quite well 'read' and has very valid grounded insights into the current global problems. I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. Probably the thing that blew me away was the fact after all the money and all the sponsors over the big years, he's back to construction to pay the bills - this was very surprising! Philip

I saw seth implode in the dunes going for a insane step down jump, couldn't afford a dirt bike but went and tried to fly my bmx after getting towed by a rm80, yeah I crashed and broke my arm but I was pumped up to be trying the jumps, injury time was made better by watching seth and planning the next jump, or the next injuries lol 👍✌️🇦🇺😂🤣

Fuck yes! i grew up idolizing enslow and the crusty crew. I remember buying the tapes from a tattoo shop (at 12 years old) and watching it with my mates. Then we would rip on our old shitty motocross bikes

You can say whatever you want on different platforms but there are sites like KZbin that can pull your stuff for whatever reason.

All my jumps are Seth's fault. He is responsible. 😜 I followed the same progression from skateboarding and snowboarding to moto-x and freeriding and eventually into wingsuiting from mountains. It's all Seth's fault. I am very greatful for his influence!

I named my dog Seth after this dude. I almost had to fight to the death with my wife to get to call him Seth. She still doesn't know who Seth Enslow is or why I insisted on calling him Seth pmsl. But I know.....;-)
