its a form of cheating... bike don't have review mirrors either.. he comes a rider on your inside... instead of a sneaky pass.. you just move over and cut them off... when if you didn't have a radio you wouldn't have known... itll ruin the sport more than four strokes... which ruined amateur racing.. made it unaffordable for most.. sure let's add more cost to the sport

I can’t agree more but it would only be good if it were used for alerting crashes and rider/track officials communication. If the pit were able have comms then they should only be able to communicate what a pit board could. I think the ability to communicate track changes or faster lines would make racing stagnant. Jmho

20 years ago it wasn't totally feasible as the receivers were too bulky for MX/SX. Now it is a matter of who controls the broadcasters and receivers, because the last thing we want it teams listening to each others comms. Now it is more feasible with the smaller size of the receivers, but the AMA would have to undo the rule about not having things attached to the helmet, even though that was designed to keep cameras off helmets and keeping the videos under AMA/Feld/FIM control. Bob isn't wrong, but it's at least 2 years before it happens.
