For the 2 burner it didn't matter to me. I did upgrade to the 4 burner Premium and love that one with hood. Helps keep heat in at 20F and below temps, and bugs out in spring. I cook all year round here in Wisconsin.

The only way for me to get one was to order from Menard's online. It cost me $50 shipping but I think it's built better than a Blackstone

Does the top warp and does it rust between uses?

Mine never warped. Properly maintained it won't rust. Mine never did.
