You missed a minor one in the Netherrealm: on the same inaccessible bit of land where Nitara and Cyrax are, but at its southern tip you can see Kabal walking around. This may actually be a hint to his training being found on that island when it becomes accessible after completing the main story. (if you access the island early through a glitch or in the PSP version where it's open from the start you can see that the Kabal who trains you is standing still near a structure and the one walking around is a different copy of the character; it disappears after beating the main story, as do Nitara and Cyrax)

Imagine a game where you got to play as Shujinko but not just in an adventure game but a beat em up where we can customize Shijinko whole moveset and also clothes, weapons and accessories, and have different dialog lines that can lead us to different paths. We can remain neutral, pick sides, join factions, be good or evil and have a lot of masters. And at some point face the different timelines Shujinko where he made different choices being an evil sorcerer, a Lin Kuei member, maybe a Shirai Ryu or just a White Lotus master like the previous one.

For me, it wasn't just Konquest Mode, the game had such a passion and care for details, the maps, the storytelling and that was not even the point of fighting games. A deep dive in the MK universe were you could talk to characters and see your own character develop made Konquest pure magic and fun.

If you mean something like KAF from MKA, that's too much effort to port over to MKD - but you technically can make your own fatalities by editing .mko scripts already (its not easy to even start).
