People always say “nilou has no personality” I feel people think that characters need a energetic or sassy or sarcastic personality, to have personality. I feel like it’s nice to have a simple but nice character sometimes, like a character without some crazy sad backstory I feel like Nilou is a perfect example of that. She doesn’t have some sad backstory and stuff, she is just simply a girl trying to what she loves and that’s what I love about her. I feel like that’s what makes her perfect, she is simple but very effective.

When I speak english, foreign friends had trouble while they tried to pronounce my name. So I always say “you can say Nilu” for a very longtime, even in turkish no one calls my actual name. And Nilufer’s mean is water lily (lotus flower). When I watched this, I was like “here I am, dancing and butchering” haha. Each time they say Nilou I feel weird haahhaa. I really wanted to meet the person who designed that character.

I mean this is probably the best demo music speaking of diversity and composition It starts off with a relaxing piano. The strings come up to bring in a bit of tension, and then release until they come back on the third bar before the actual next section Section B hits us with a sudden falssetto flute that takes the lead. The flute in this section, in comparison to the rest of the instruments, feels like it is out of control, like a lotus that has not had the chance to bloom yet. Its chordscheme is also very representative of mideastern music. This is a short theme establishment which gets overtaken by the strings, that take over the same chords. The already-chilled-out strings get even tamer by only having a guitar and piano C section that somehow instantly builds back up when the strings come in for the D section. The flute is back! And without a falssetto! The flute feels in control and gives us a beautiful solo that is accompanied by the rest of the gang. It's a slow ballad with, quite sudden, fast strokes that livens up the piece and gives it life.

So if you're guaranteed Nilou that means itll take around 78~ wishes to get her. honestly i love this demo so much, the music, the presentation, the character. nilou has such a refreshing personality compared to a lot of the recent characters an i feel like her personality is very relatable. i also grew to love her design and aesthetic. her aura is soothing and accepting, and she encourages people to follow their hearts. i think that message is very well needed at least for me. her posture during her attack animations is so fluid, elegant, and effortless. almost calming in a way i am really excited for her and i hope i can actually get a copy of her on her first banner. if not i will definitely be saving for a rerun. i genuinely love nilou as a character and have not been this excited for a character banner in quite some time. i truly feel captivated this time around. anyways, wishing everyone good luck for their summons

I love Nilou and her graceful and beautiful dancing. It's so different from Barbra and Yunjin, but also has a similar aesthetic to it while being completely unique at the same time. My only sad note is that her test-run was a little underwhelming for me, especially when comparing her to Ayato (also a hydro sword user). I can't help but compare the two, although I love them both equally. It just seems like Nilou has more of a four-star vibe, and other characters like Candace have a five-star vibe. I mean, Candace is the descendant of a god, and she's a 4-star. Nilou's a gentle, graceful and wholesome soul, and I'm not intending to make her look worse than Candace, they're both amazing in their own ways, but I feel like Candace should've been the five-star in this situation. But I love both my girls equally!!
