I especially love that they're not really fighting (in the parts that are pre-rendered and not gameplay anyway). If you look closely and slow down the footage, a lot of their hits aren't actually connecting (pay attention to Wriothesley's punch at 2:52 for probably the clearest example), and then as soon as Furina poses, all of them stop fighting to pose as well. They're all acting with her.

Seeing how she has a Vision here, this is actually her lifestyle after the AQ…which is crazy considering we thought this was how she sees the world as an Archon but in actuality this is her finally living her life in her own wonderment and freedom, illustrated as the show biz, stage and the whole cast by the end of demo. In the whole demo, only Chlorinde made cameo hinting that they are probably like sisters now and may have even taught Furina how to fight (practicing on a sleeping seal). With her skills, it would seem that the 3 summons are like companions that kept her company as they would understand her the most. I don't know what it is. If it's the improved writing or the change to her voice and character or a bit of both, but I lately have found Paimon to be very endearing and I would never let any harm befall her. In the beginning she was honestly just... dumb. She talked way too much, half the stuff she said didn't even make any sense, she forced comic relief every two seconds when it was never necessary, and she seemed to think she was sooo important and we'd be lost without her. But now... she isn't "stupid" but rather "immature". She's like a little kid we keep around that can get on people's nerves but at the end of the day we all care about her. What a well-developed character Furina is, even in such a happy and lively song the lyrics and some events within the demo can make you understand that they are talking about escapism and evading reality (which makes a lot of sense to everything she experienced in the prophecy). The demo begins with a man talking about the incredible play that Furina is about to perform but in the meantime you see the audience going about their daily lives as if that didn't matter while you then cut to Furina's scene where she starts dancing and singing... For some empty seats... That the man talks about the great performance that she is about to do and that it seems that no one cares or no one noticed reflects how Furina is doing the incredible performance of an archon and no one realizes that it is acted. The song tells you that the world is a stage (I mean, everyone is an actor), if you feel like crying then laugh (after all if the world is a stage, you are an actor on it and you should be able to pretend). It can lead you to interpret that you should not show your true feelings to anyone and that makes sense Furina always behaving like a majestic conceited archon with a big smile but in the fountain you could hear her crying begging for everything to end... Just like she says the song, the world is a stage, if you want to cry... LAUGH. (Furina on the verge of madness). Best demo by far. Very deep.

I love how aside from a single line at the start, there is no reference to her Divine Power or her nature as an Archon. There is no aura of overwhelming power or control over nature or natural laws. Coming back to this trailer after finishing all the archon quest and her story quest, I just realized that at 1:58 the change in music and tone is because she switched from her true self to acting as the archon (you can see the outift and hair change), which is why we begin seeing her potrayed as a celebrity for the remaining half of the trailer. Truly a wonderful video and amazing character!

Coming back to this trailer after getting Furina just made me fall in love with her all over again. Her writing and design is so immaculate and I love how her whole introduction was about her in a play, which emphasised her lonlieness and how she was always playing as a character rather than her true self. What a well-developed character Furina is, even in such a happy and lively song the lyrics and some events within the demo can make you understand that they are talking about escapism and evading reality (which makes a lot of sense to everything she experienced in the prophecy). The demo begins with a man talking about the incredible play that Furina is about to perform but in the meantime you see the audience going about their daily lives as if that didn't matter while you then cut to Furina's scene where she starts dancing and singing... For some empty seats... That the man talks about the great performance that she is about to do and that it seems that no one cares or no one noticed reflects how Furina is doing the incredible performance of an archon and no one realizes that it is acted. The song tells you that the world is a stage (I mean, everyone is an actor), if you feel like crying then laugh (after all if the world is a stage, you are an actor on it and you should be able to pretend). It can lead you to interpret that you should not show your true feelings to anyone and that makes sense Furina always behaving like a majestic conceited archon with a big smile but in the fountain you could hear her crying begging for everything to end... Just like she says the song, the world is a stage, if you want to cry... LAUGH. (Furina on the verge of madness).

1:38 The swing scene is actually genius. She is imitating the four other archons we met before. The color of the background indicates the archon she is immitating. For refence, since it’s a bit hard to see. The first swing is with Sumaru Citizens, and she just swings normally (well Nahida does so in an idle animation so fairs fair) Next is monstat generic models, and she has a harp in her hand, Then you see a bunch of Inazuma NPC and she is sitting like Ei when we find her meditating in the plane of Euthymia, Finally the easily one to notice is Liyue since she just throws Mora everwhere.
