Fantastic video. Highly informative and very approachable from all levels of Unreal users. Niagara persistence ID's!! Another hidden checkbox that can be so important - glad you zoomed in on that to highlight the importance. Thanks for inspiring me to create the highest quality content I can.

Amazing! Well done Jobutsu for another great video! I also can’t wait until we get this sort of accuracy (skin) with the collider in terms of clothing. They showed off the kinematic collider at GDC but not how to use it :)

Thanks for the awesome tut! I'm wondering if/how can this be applied on a whole metahuman incl. body + head? Thanks!
@STVinMotion4 ай бұрын
Wait, I think I found a tut of yours that explains that: Combine Metahuman Meshes right? kzbin.info/www/bejne/eoeVmYFpYsqea7M
@Jobutsu4 ай бұрын
Yes, it absolutely can be used on a fully body, you can do it without combining meshes but it requires a little more planning.
@STVinMotion4 ай бұрын
@@Jobutsu thanks! Let us all know please if it's possible now to combine metahuman meshes with a better/higher poly count.

excellent as always thank you. I tried doing something very similar recently with the new UE5 cloner onto an animated metahuman and the clones just wouldn't stick during the animation. I think you may have shown me a number of solutions. Thank you,
@Jobutsu9 ай бұрын
I did not have much luck with the cloner either.

Anyone else getting a strange thing in 5.4.1, with the niagara system parented by none, if you save it, it un-parents itself. So you have to keep reattaching, also if you try to render it there is no motion to the system as in the view port prior to render, so I believe it disconnects itself again at render time also? anyone else got this and found a fix? Amazing video was very helpfull.

Can the big shot create a more controllable video using Motion Design,

Try it.

This is unbelievably helpful! Thank you! Quick question: I've been trying to adapt this to also include the body. I basically followed all the steps, but attached the Niagara systems (separate one for face and body) in the blueprint. The face works as expected, and the body particle system shows up but doesn't track the body animation. It stays still while the body moves. Any thoughts on why that might be?
@Jobutsu3 ай бұрын
It worked for me. Once I start publishing content again, I will take another look.

When I make the Face user parameter I don't have a default mesh option just a preview mesh option. Any ideas? Thanks for the great video
@Jobutsu9 ай бұрын
5.3 ? Just set the preview mesh.
@SamsaraOhara9 ай бұрын
@@JobutsuThanks for the quick reply. Yes 5.3, I set just the preview mesh as you described and I thought it hadn't worked but it did. Sorry I asked the question too early 🤣
@Jobutsu9 ай бұрын
While learning, I was using 5.3 anyway. I only used 5.4 for the tutorial, so should all work fine.

That is not a one video. There are fundamentals, such as those that are shown in this tutorial that, must be understood first.
