A fantastic finale to this really enjoyable and indepth look at the cast of tlou characters through loadout designs. I think you hit the nail on the head with Joel being a Jack of all Trades and deserved all 6 loadout slots to cover the weapons and skills he used. Well done on putting such a great series together Strategist. GG's btw.That second game was the perfect showcase for Joel. Plenty of Revolver and Machete downs. Some clutch revives "you surVIVED because of me" is dang right. At 15:58 lol knocking ppl out all over the place with Brawler! LOL. But those shotgun downs at the end were the perfect topper to the Joel video. Loved it. Can't wait to see what you have instore for us with your TLOU2 videos. Enjoy the break man, you surely deserve it :-)

Ahhh, thank you so very much, MadMatt! Of all the CLD I published, this was the one I fretted over the most...I just HAD to get it right. So sincere thanks for praise and kind words, it’s greatly appreciated! 😊🙏🏻 Yes, as you know, I had a difficult time distilling this video down to JUST two matches (or 1.5 rather). The other two gameplays were good, but these two just felt more Joel-esque, for lack of a better word, haha. 😂👍🏻 About the brawler...now that I think about it, I can of five or so instances where I notched 4 or more kills in quick succession with brawler JUST on High School alone. A lot of people knock it, but it’s a seriously underrated perk in my mind. 😉👍🏻

Really really good job T-strats, the loadout represents Joel in an awesome combination of his brain and brawn. Joel is a good person in many ways even if he crossed some moral lines, it was necessary for his survival. He has a good heart as seen in the story with Ellie. Good work T-strats, looking forward to E3 and TLOU 2.

what impress me about Joel is hits capacity to survive and keep motivation to do it while he Was almost alone and for so many years. He is the most resilient character with Ellie!

Well said, Hubert. Joel is incredibly resilient and a true survivor. What spurred him to continue to survive? He just kept finding something to keep fighting for...that Sarah didn’t die in vain, for the ideal of survival, for redemption, for love... 😊👍🏻

Another thoughtful design. I had a feeling that Jack of all trades was going to be the crux of the load out. As you stated, Joel is truly a versatile individual and collectively encompasses so many ability's it only makes sense. Unless you can magically get about 20+ loadout points from Naughty Dog for your endeavor to emulate this iconic character. I have really enjoyed your take on all the cast of characters. I anticipate the new storyline in the TLOU 2 should provide us all with years of enjoyment as the original has. At least I hope so. The original storyline is by far one of the most satisfying media experiences I have had the opportunity to experience. I have never felt a closeness to any video game characters before but I was mesmerized. The story and cast performances were unparalleled. I was compelled to want to save Ellie and Joel. Nothing else like it. I appreciate your time and consideration for keeping the flame alive for such an amazing game experience. I agree with you, virtualyme! For me the stackable Jack of All Trades was a better solution than trying to make 6 different Joel loadouts that were true to his character. I never intended anyone to use all of them in one match, just have all their bases covered depending on what they needed at that time. Yes, The Last of Us is the same for me...and I like that you called it an experience, as it really blurs the lines between video game and movie. It has everything you need for an epic movie, let alone video game. 😊🙏🏻 Nice CSN song, a fitting one for our beloved Joel.

i agree! i really like how joel wasn’t solely a good guy or a bad guy. he was human and had that mix of both. he did what he thought was right, much like any other human would do. they did a really good job portraying the idea that light can’t exist without dark!

Strats, and I actually love to use JAT2 with revolver only, as I feel myself as a one-man-army! 🤗 He is definitely not a villain, he is a hero with a tough acceptance of life, someone that had to adapt to the new world, to transform himself in order to survive...and yep he done the right decision at the end! 👍 GG for the whole collection of character loadouts, so original and perfect addition to the TLOU community! 😊

For my jack of all trades loadout I use Revoler, Jack of all trades and Lethal efficiency 2. I thinks it’s really great for speed since crafter and first aid plus speedy executions with lethal. Plus u get all those “save your ass” perks like brawler 2 and second chance.

Because the first gun the player (as Joel) gets is a 9mm? The revolver does fit the character better for sure... Looking forward for your new idea's. Thanks for this series. These are all the same problems I had with the Firefly vaccine; it was a longshot in the first place, and trying to produce and distribute large amounts seems incredibly difficult.

Oh man oh man oh man!!! I love this one!!!! Joel's awesome! You're awesome! What a way to end a series man. Incredible! Your aiming was on point! So was your decision making! I'm so glad you made these videos man. They helped a lot. As for Joel... I think he's a survivor. Someone who suffered a terrible loss and is doing everything he can to make up for it. You chose the words correctly. He IS legendary. And what he did at the end of TLOU wasn't selfish. That's what makes him human. He lost his daughter once, he wasn't gonna lose her again. If you think about it, any of us would've done the same thing. I do hope he survives TLOU 2 cuz he's such a badass hero. Anyways, great way to end this series man.
