When you do things like cutting all those tris into the bottom of the pants do you end up with any problems with deformation when animating later? How do you go about adding more textural details without cluttering your geometry completely? I was thinking maybe once you'd done a pass with gradients you could project the colours back onto the mesh then uv the model in a traditional way and export out a polygon color map on top of that. Then paint in any small details that would clutter geometry and get the model back. So basically you still get all your gradients but you can then embellish them a bit afterwards without being too reliant on geos. But I'm wondering if you've run into any real challenges with achieving things just through geos ?
