No worries. I've not used it as an actual house rule, but I've always felt that just due to the obscure and weird nature of most of metis gifts and the description of their social seclution, I've always imagined it as them spending a lot of time in the umbra. That's why I like to think that way, even though the lupus does have higher gnosis.

Very thorough run down of the werewolf character sheet. I'd recommend this for anyone that is making a character in werewolf or any white wolf system really since so much of this can cross world of darkness game lines.

An excellent video, I wish I got the Werewolf books when the gettin' was good! Oh well, it's coming back! Werewolves always regenerate after all. It's cool how the hierarchical theme of the game is also in the mechanics themselves. Needing ranks of honor or gnosis to get respect and Gifts.

They're Homid (human), Glabro (the wolfman style werewolf), Crinos (the two legged monsterious half man half wolf werewolf), Hispo (a giant monterious wolf) and Lupus (wolf). You can change in to any form at any time yeah. But with cellphone cameras in everyones pocket, you have to be careful what you change in to, when and where.

Yeah I like it my self. I like it how experience points isn't the only way of rewarding players. They get willpower points for good roleplay and renown for their righteous actions. I guess you could leave XP for moving the game forward mostly :) Get the 20th anniversary book once it comes out. It looks deliciously pretty!

It does make more sense to me too. Especially since the sole reason lupus have such high Gnosis comes from the 'animals sense unseen things' belief. That coupled with how hard lupus can be for some to play, makes the breed pretty hated in the circles I am in XD To metis, high gnosis makes sense, since they would be aware of the spiritual nature far beyond what a lupus would know.

Honestly? If those are your House Rules, they are pretty neat ones.Just wanted to point those facts out. And, yeah, sorry about nitpicking so much. The gaming I do requires me to check the rules a lot, and correct people. So I tend to do that out of it as well ^^''

It felt so silly when I played a metis character few years ago and he had the "burrow" gift. It was basically a 9 foot tall flat nose crinos burrowing underground like bugs bunny :D

Well it seems like I overlooked double checking some facts that I remembered wrong. You are correct. It would be fun sometimes to talk about other stuff aside from rule nitpicks though.

I have to actually counter the metis being the most spiritual. While I might not agree with the way the Gnosis spread is made, it is the lupus who has the most gnosis (5) and is therefore meant to be the most spiritual out of the breeds. Metis' thing is more that they know the garou society the best, so an experienced player won't have to play 'dumb' as much.

Also, homids are not forbidden from buying Primal-Urge from chargen. They just have insanely low Gnosis.

I'm not sure if it's actually explained in any of the books, but from the fact that they are never mentioned anywhere, I'd guess the same thing would happen as when a human would fuck a cow. The cow won't give birth to a minotaurus as a result of it.

Sorry but I've never played or even read the mage books :( I've only played werewolf, vampire and inquisitor when it comes to white-wolf lines.

While I appreciate the Table Top version, I really loved playing werewolf online on AOL. You could still roll dice, there were dens, packs and cearns and it was so much more easier to get into character via computer. Really wise Werewolf would come back. Can't stand all this WoW stuff. Now if someone made a WtA online for RPG like warcraft. That would be sweet.
