Money and xp transfer lol yea keep dreaming , the only thing that will transfer is social club stuff and maybe some achievements on there. Shark card sales made them sooo much cash so I doubt very much that they would allow such a transfer that would hinder those shark car sales. It won't be fair on new players if they have to compete with gta5 players with years of progression.

We should be able to travel between Los Santos and vice city back and forth. Have properties and vehicles in both cities. Rockstar has hundred of millions of dollars they should be able to do this technological feat with ease.

Modding and glitching will always be a think regardless of us getting our characters back or not. I suggest adding expansions to gta online rather than tie it into gta 6. They are not the same thing.

A 100% Full transfer. Or at least everything I own like: Buildings, vehicles, Aircraft’s and etc is transferred into money. And I mean a total value of everything. Not a percentage.

I hope they allow us to use whatever vehicle we own in future "heists" that they bring to the online mode. That way it gives us multiple different approaches to a mission. Increases the replay value of the game.

Yeah if they let you use whatever vehicle you want on the harder heist, that would make them to easy. They make it hard/grindy on purpose, so if people want to skip the grind, and buy shark cards.

I think the story modes of both should be their own map. but on GTA 6 online you should be able to fly back to los Santos and have everything still there. Carry money and spawn your car in both cities. Fly or use airports to fast travel to and from vice city and los Santos. But you can only buy vice city stuff while in vice city ECT.

I honestly don't think rockstar will transfer money etc over to gta 6 online from gta 5 online. They are spending alot if money on this game and will need ppl to not just buy the game, but in game purchases like shark cards. What I do think though, is the gta 5 online players will be given nice incentives to get gta 6 online, ie. A new property, a vehicle, clothing items, a nice weapon and some money in the bank. But when you have players with millions in the bank and literally no reason to spend real money, or spend time in game grinding it out. I think original players will get advantages , but that's it, we all back to driving round shooting each other for a while, which Im fine with, new game, fresh start, I hope

Is it GTA 5 ONLINE or GTA ONLINE that is the question but having your level and bank money would be fair for those whom grinded and for those whom purchased Shark Cards,same deal but credit them the money used from those purchases as well. This is why I said that question is what needs to be answered,if it's the former then hey everyone starts fresh and if it's the latter then what I stated as a balance makes sense because that means GTA ONLINE is separated and contained but still exists in continuity like a "Multiverse".

Definitely need some form of transfer. Some folk have far too much real money invested. I jave never bought a shark card,but have earned enough to own everything of value. This March has driven many of us to purchase not 1...but 2 next gen systems simply to continue what we enjoy. If they can't acknowledge that,they will lose quite a few of the folk that have made gta online a cash cow.

All of our rare items that we have as far as clothing, vehicle livery, weapons will be there. If u don't care then you'll be one those that'll be missing out. A majority of everything we have now we'll be able to buy back since every other previous map will be an expansion already in the system

I think it's all going to connect you will be able to go back and forth between vice City and Los Santos and you will keep your character and your progress and they will be much more that will be offered in GTA online but the story mode will be completely on it's own entirely

It will not be a new game, we will have the map of gta5 and gta6 in gta online whit gta6 graphics, they'll keep gta5 map cuz gta 5 is a game and gta online is another one, both have a different logo, different website, different story...

If on day one i get blowed up repeatedly by someone who transfered their flying car or motorcycle with targeting missiles Ill be pissed. That shouldn't happen day 1 give everybody a few weeks at least beforehand. I thought the point of a new game would be a fresh start for everyone like every game before. It just seems like a strange decision but if executed correctly it could be neat, but time will only tell.

Why would you think you can transfer your character from GTA 5 to GTA 6? They're going to be two completely separate games, regardless of how much grinding you spent in GTA 5 online. What we're all looking for is a fresh new game. I can't imagine rockstar allowing you to show up in GTA 6 online with your 300 + cars, millions of $$$ and I'd imagine the character creation system will be completely different.

They could tie in the online story a bit like LSPD and the FIB and IAA finally crackdown on all the criminal lords of LS and you make a hasty escape to vice city but nothing comes with you including money and RP because the authorities have seized all of your money and belongings you left behind in you hasty escape to the east coast, when you arrive to vice city it’s like the beginning of GTAO your introduction to a totally new criminal underbelly in vice city???? Anyone like this idea??

If everyone has to start from scratch (I'm not sure if I'd completely want to, it has its pros and cons), then this is definitely a nice way of doing so. I'd also give og online players some exclusive items like a gun, car, etc.

Any of the stuff you have in gta online will stay in gta online, the last gta game. But in gta 6 online, ofc you'll have to make a new character.

@@tazk143 back then R* said, that they want to make a world one day. Lc, Sf, & Lv were all scrapped from gta 5 in the beta. The first gta featured Lc, Sa, Vc, & London as an expansion map. When there's a gta title set in Lc the game always includes or features Sa and the same vice versa when Sa included or features Lc. Vc features Lc but the map isn't present. Lcs is in connection with Vcs and there would've been a Sas present (it's on hold) to complete the trilogy of the stories series. There's players that spent $ on rare rewards and then there's the gta+ subscription service just now taking place in the future of online.. They're not gonna leave these rare rewards behind for the sake of $ being spent and holding value as being apart of our characters legacy. U earn rare rewards for a reason.. R* isn't leaving the rare rewards out of the picture

I would rather they reset RP and money as it’s another map and just say that Vice City have different banks and don’t transfer money from one to the other but we have the option to return to Los Santos back and forth in an expanded universe. Maybe eventually return to an added DLC Liberty City eventually. So you’re essentially starting over and building your reputation and businesses in different locations to expand your criminal empire.

Whoever thinks they're bringing Los Santos and your progress and the things you've purchased, you live in la la land ... They would have to essentially redo los santos from scratch with the new engine, textures, the new graphics, technology implementation, the menus and the online protocol.

I kinda see them kinda taking a page out of Call of duty page and doing a split. Option like in those games your account could transfer between them Soo you don't feel rob of 9+ years of money spent. And this goes back to them making GTA online a separate thing all toghter. Like you can now with downloading GTA online without having to have 5 downloaded. And also thy implement alot of new changes into online in the last couple dlc Don't sound like there gonna just pull the chain and end it untill I pretty much died out witch won't happen for atlest 2 more years when most everyone may be upgrading to the next game

A fresh start will be the case since the character people created in GTA 4 Online didn't transfer to GTA 5 so you might have to start afresh and grind once more.

I'm pretty sure GTA 6 will have it's own version of GTA Online. Plus R. hasn't revealed anything about GTA 6, other than it's in devolvement and set in Vice City.

From what I heard gta 6 might take place in vice city liberty city and los santos so it might be possible that we can keep the apartment if the character transfer is going to happen. It would suck to end up starting over and if we the character transfer would happen it will keep the gta online story going rather than make it 2 separate story’s

U probably will have to start over again in GTA 6 and they will keep GTA 5 servers running til its generating profit. I also think we only gonna have Vice City map but its still gonna be way bigger than Los Santos. It would make no sense to transfer everything in to a new game. We don't even gonna have the same vehicles, apartments or anything in the new game and we are not technologically advanced yet to make the game so big. The only transfer i see possible is ur character with ur username and thats all.

Fully migration is what will happen. The properties will get linked to a new location with same value propery. They cant deploy all your 200 vehicles on the streets. I just hope the modded components will remain and modded outfits. GTA is very boring game without modding. But maybe 6 will be better, who knows

Here's a idea, let your character come over but have it so you have to spend all your money to get over there and have like a cutscene with your character flying over there in a plane. Also you lose all your cars and properties. Basically, you keep your levels and character but not money, weapons or properties.
