Your ability to be a solid friend, be a great coworker or boss, build a thriving marriage that is going to last the test of time, and become a good parent all rely on good character. So how do we become a man or woman of good character when the culture around us opposes us and is constantly changing?
__
We live in a world that’s ever-changing with beliefs that come and go, which has left Christianity more watered down than ever before. In this series, we’re walking through stories from the book of Daniel to see what it looks like to stand firm in a fallen world. When opposition strikes, will you continue to trust God and stand up for what’s true?

I sinned today, I don't want to anymore. I afraid I'll keep sining again. I need help.

Unfortunately the type of sin is important for the help. We can pray for you regardless but I need to let you know sinless perfection is a myth. So, if you look for your perfection you'll never look to the finsh work of Christ. Look to Him as your salvation not the works of yourself.

@@Jondoe_04 Dear sir, I'll just explain my situation, my life is inconsistent, sometimes it's all good and jolly and other times I feel like I hit rock bottom. And I don't mean that, life is full of ups and down thing. I have depression every now and then, I also feel happy every now and then. I don't have that stability, that balance or steadiness. I become a good Christian for two weeks and I go back to my old ways and again I come back to being good and the cycle never stops. I just dont know what I am doing wrong or what I am missing. I want to do good and I want to remain in God and his spirit.

@@bleedingkeano1195 firstly good on you for speaking openly. Secondly is Christianity a works based religion? The answer is no. If you are His you did nothing to earn your salvation so you can't do anything to loss either. Now tips to actually help you walk closer to the path we are called to. 1. Confess your sins. That doesn't mean God I've sinned forgive. That means saying your sin in its totality. As if you were telling me everything you did today so should it be with God when you've sinned. 2 Pray. When ever a temptation befalls you seek God to give you strength to follow Him and to know He is good. 3 define what is the reason why you do it (other then your sin nature) and identify what are the habits that lead to it 4 setup mottos and guard rails for yourself mottos so know where you're going (IE how you are planning to go after Him) and guard rails as warning lights when your falling down a pathway leading to sin. Hopefully those are some tips that can help.
