I think or at least with my friends, men think women are the problem. We change after marriage. We become their maids and mothers. The consideration of being a partner is gone. It is so disappointing.

- Cherishing (patient, kind, respectful, able to slow down for her, love her as christ loves the church, understanding, sacrificial) - Confident (submitted and surrendered to Christ, humility, service, to get her heart will take confidence before the Lord) - Controlled by the Holy Spirit (self-control, slow to anger) - Clear conscience (not entertained by the enemies' entertainment, pursue purity) - Communicate (leaders remove confusion) - Christ-centered

- Cherishing - nothing in this definition differs from what her father and brothers already do. Except for the part about "whatever makes you happy, dear." (See "communicate" below). - Confident - has nothing to do with loving a woman. Not to mention the self-loathing "humility" he's advocating for is unhealthy, unscriptural, and unattractive. The "arrogance" (actually healthy self belief) he belittles is actually indispensable if you want *anyone* to follow you - let alone a woman. (And yes, you want your woman to follow you) - controlled ... By the Holy Spirit. The self control thing is true. The part about having to basically be an apostle before you should even consider getting married is... rubbish. - clear conscience. Women want men who have the ability to make love to them in ways they can't bring themselves to ask for. And instead we are encouraging men to repress their sexuality - the thing that makes them men - their very masculine essence - and to feel ashamed of it. It's true that you should stay away from porn, but again, that has nothing to do with loving a woman. - communicate. "Be a leader" - yes, I agree. "Listen to your wife." Like Adam did? Gen 3:6 Like Moses did? Ex 4:25-26 Like David did? 2 Sam. 6:20-23 Like Abraham did? Gen 16:3-4, 21:9-11 Like Jesus did? Jhn 2:4 - Christ-centered. Again, true, but had nothing to do with loving a woman. Almost nothing in this sermon is useful for the purpose of learning how to seduce a woman, much less keep her. Some of it is good advice for Christian men generally. But mostly, it is a perfect example of how the modern church is scared to death to say anything that doesn't pander to/compromise with radical feminism.

By the grace of God, I've had victory over sexual sin for close to 2 years, I've noticed the key has been to attack those thoughts that try to crawl in immediately with the word of God. Having a ZERO tolerance approach, zero movies or going to places (beach) that have situations where your eyes can stumble. So understated - what you feed, will grow. You feed yourself the word of God your desire to fight sin grows stronger. Thank you Lord, guide us all to honor you with our lives. Praise God! So encouraging to see a praise report encourage other believers, to God be the glory 🙏

I wish I would have heard the “not being best friends with a woman” part. Have been married to my wife for 10 yrs and my friendship with this woman had been a 20 plus year friendship. All these years, my wife always thought I was going to leave her for this woman. When I found this out. I was devastated. I ended the friendship right away and it’s made my marriage better. I can’t hate the term “work wife” enough. Don’t let another woman get between you and your wife. Don’t!

What I think is missing from conversations about porn is the fact that pornstars are not 2D fake women…they are women. Porn means someone has objectified real people, children of God. We are commanded to approach people as children of God, and to selflessly love them. Porn involves looking at someone as an empty piece of garbage really, and a tolerance to see them humiliated and degraded. There’s a lack of love and objectification toward the people who are in porn involved as well. That may be the sickest part about it, and more important than how it affects the watcher. It affects the people involved and that’s not called out. There is in fact a love problem, and valuing people problem when people sleep around and or view porn.
@HeyDudette
@HeyDudette 2 жыл бұрын
This! There is a perspective of porn stars in the Christian community which depicts them as evil temptresses with a Jezebel spirit. But more than often, these people have been abused and terribly victimised. I wish that the conversation around porn in the Christian world would touch more on the fact that it is essentially filmed torture, that those who consume it are actually gratifying themselves off people who are in deep suffering.

I like this video... here is part of why.... this man is saying things that God has shown me. God opened my eyes to certain things, I SAW them, it was beautiful. God changed the way I was attracted to the opposite sex. I stopped being attracted to them because of what they looked like. I started to be attracted to men for who they are. And it stopped feeling sexual and it just became about loving their soul. That can turn into sexual attraction, but it begins with just loving the goodness inside of them. And I also think maybe God helps you to be attracted to someone good for you when you are on the right path. Anyway.. I would go into more detail but I have to go. I wish I believed I deserve the kind of love that is described in this video. One day I might feel it. Thank you for reminding me that the man for me will cherish me.

God does not bless us because we deserve or earn it. Whether it is salvation, or the kind of love JP is talking about in the video. God sends this kind of man because he LOVES us. If we are willing to be faithfuol to the Lord and wait for His timing and will, it will happen, the waiting will be over, and a new journey will begin. Thank God in advance for the kind of man described in this video. That is an expression of Faith. This is what I believe and what I am doing after watching this man of God on this video. Teary-eyed by the end 👏 🙌 Some men don't grow up and ...sadly they never realize they hadn't. My father and his before him. My example of what a man is... made me naive, blind, over forgiving, to abusive tendencies, "manchild" behavior, adult boy tantrums, selfishness, and disrespect. I am a believer in marriage, and it is for life, so I have yet to marry...
@Jaxmusicgal23
@Jaxmusicgal23 Жыл бұрын
A lot of men struggle with this if they only had a mom or a overbearing, enabling mom. Thank you for working on yourself and realizing it before marrying someone. That woman will love you and end up having to be your mom and keep track of everything until she burns out trying to have an adult relationship with you (but cant (and trying to raise the children y’all made). I live this and I love him enough to stay but its very hard at times for me because I want to honor him and let him lead but unless he feels someone (not me) hold his feet to the fire constantly, he falls right back into childish behavior. I see his potential if he would take hold of his life and grow away from the childlike tendencies he falls into but its not my call to change him. Tried that as a stupid young wife for over a decade. I have since got to see some real, grown up men who aren’t childish… they enjoy having fun but they get things done first and pay attention to others needs. I am so sorry and once you do figure life out, you will have alot to give someone and lessons to teach. Once you learn to make yourself do what is right instead of what feels good… you will be an asset to a woman. Dont give up hope! Give it up to God and let this be a testimony. My life itself before marriage and even after is a testimony to God working in my life. I definitely came in with my own scars and issues. The difference between me and my hubby is I refuse to let that limit me and want to be the best and learn how to be the woman God wants me and my hubby has always just done enough to “get by” and seem like a good, Christian person. I fell into it for too long as well and now I am pulling myself up and praying he wakes up and grows. I really want to see him and all the men like him get this figured out. Most have alot going for them if they could trust God and begin to do the hardest thing of allowing Him to mold and change what was broken by family.

knew exactly what I wanted in a spiritual man and I totally agree with what this man says about attraction because looks can change but the heart filled with kindness and patience and when I met the right person we both knew it from the very beginning. I think that gratitude and friendship can turn into love and real love should be based on trust and based on understanding of each other's needs. Man should not get married if noy ready to wait and respect her timing like she would do the same for him. I waited a month for the first kiss and it was perfect and the most beautiful moment and he was the best friend and a good man that gave me the best care after I became sick. We were both each other first and I don't see anything bad about the media if there is trust between the two that love each other. I am disgusted by thinking about pornography and everything that does not have serious and deep love in it. Angela Italy

Respect them even when you don't think they deserve it (just like you want them to love you unconditionally). Follow what they tell you even if you don't think it's practical (unless by practical you mean possible). You are right about positivity and building them up, and never talking bad about them to others. Be attentive, yes. We don't need the little indications of thoughtfulness, though - we know you are thinking about us when you remember what we like (favorite foods, favorite musicians, etc. - which most women are already pretty good at). And when you are willing to put down your phone for a few minutes. Refrain from giving unsolicited advice. Overlook their weaknesses, and you are right about praising highly. Let him be the decision maker for decisions HE thinks are "important" - not just for decisions that aren't "unimportant" in the sense of not being a decision he can be trusted with. Yes, pray and... you forgot the most important one, which is not appropriate for youtube. That one can make up for a lot of other missteps.

It takes years to be prepared for ministry - it was 30 yrs for Jesus and Holy Spirit is the Teacher!!!

@@Vulture402 Hi, I'm trying to understand men's perspective better to honor my husband. Wondering if you'd tell me how this message is perverse. Is it unrealistic? Your thoughts are appreciated.
@Vulture402

@@janr.3923 One of the best ways to show respect for a man is to never seem to undermine his perspective. Instead, try to frame any challenges to his lived experience as confusion or honest curiosity on your part. If you can manage to get him on the defensive or cause him to question his own thinking without realizing that you were the source of the questioning, you can change him subtly over time without arousing any resentment; more importantly, he definitely won't see through to what you're actually doing and feel irritated or insulted. This is the best strategy for bending a man to your will without conflict. The only caveat to keep in mind is that it only works on men who derive most of their self-worth from the approval of women... so you have nothing to worry about.

The whole world should be watching this video. It's a masterpiece. No offence intended but a lot of times christian men think its enough to just brand themselves as "christian" and somehow it'd turn them into godly men without dealing with the enemy within and fighting to walk like Christ did. That belief has ended up increasing the number of Counterfeit "godly spouses" allover the world. It's heart warming to know that finally a generation of true godly men are being raised and nurtured. The 5 C's are totally the real deal. I feel hope for the revival of kingdom marriages in our generation with such teachings. Amen. **It's 1:06AM in the night and I'm here glued to your video from Uganda 🇺🇬. Couldn't help but smile when you mentioned it as an example 😊.

Wow that was truly epic! I’ve been in a mission to find my Godly wife, but wasn’t doing it all the way Gods way. Some of the points about purity and temper management struck major chords with me. There’s always things to work on. I thank the Lord for his protection, guidance and carefully handed preparation before I do meet her, so I can be the man of god, husband and father he always meant for me to be and that she deserves. Additionally, the holy spiritual showed me months ago that I was looking for my future wife’s fathers blessing but first I needed the Holy spirits blessing. That was a major epiphany. Shalom Blessings.

Attention men: Do the following, and your wife won't know what hit her! When that happens, you won't know what hit you! 1. Go buy a ceramic bowl big enough to use to wash her feet. At least 5" deep and 18" wide. The rim should flair out so that there isn't a hard/sharp edge on it so that it won't dig into her leg while her foot is in the bowl. Next, go buy some Epsom Salts and a good smelling sugar scrub. Find a place in your home where she can sit comfortably or if you have a bench type piece of furniture at the end of the bed, she can lay down in bed and her legs should be able to sit in the bowl comfortably. (Hence the soft rim of the bowl) Bonus tip: if it is winter and the house is a bit cold, an electric blanket is awesome. She can lay on it while you love on her feet! So, fill the bowl with hot water, but be mindful of the temp obviously. Put in a little Epsom Salt and mix. Gently guide her foot to the water and make sure she is ok with the temp. LOVINGLY, caress her foot and get some sugar scrub and again, GENTLY massage/ wash her foot making sure you do not rub too hard or aggressively on the top of her foot or on her ankle bone. Also, ask her how it feels. Harder? Softer? Circular motion or random gliding in no particular pattern? Do your best to accommodate her likes and avoid what she doesn't. (Obviously lol) but seriously, pay attention to what you are doing. Don't watch t/v or talk about work or stressful stuff etc. Let your love for her flow through your hands. LITTERALY make love to her with your hands. Don't be in a rush, experience her! Let her feel your soul and deep love for her through every single movement. Use strong yet gentle hands. As the scrub dissolves, rinse her foot and re-apply new scrub. Caress between her toes if she likes it. Gently and slowly pull each toe, and glide your fingers along them as you pull away. BIG TIME STRESS RELIEF! Remember, it is critical that you let your love flow out of you. You can't force it. Find a voice for your love for the Bride of your youth! This is the person you have chosen to spend the rest of your life with! Build her up! Build up your friendship! Build up your love! Invest in her and your marriage! If you don't have those feelings, get them! Find them! Jesus said to love her as He loved His bride! Look at the devastation that divorce has caused in this country. Heal your marriage or if it is solid, amp it up! Then, if possible, use a warm hand towel to dry her feet. Then, kiss the top of her foot. Next, get some high quality lotion/skin cream and massage her feet with that. Her feet will feel amazing! Lastly, do this without expectation for and return favors! Just spoil her and let her come to you in her own way, when she is ready. 2. Fill her gas tank every Sunday. 3. When she asks you to do something, do it and do it to the best of you ability. Fix the sink, clean the dog poop, take out the trash, paint the bedroom. Just purpose in your heart to meet her needs any and every way you can. Give to her selflessly! Don't worry about yourself, worry about her! Tell her how much you love her and how beautiful she is. Text her little love letters as often as you have the feeling. Be sincere and genuine, don't force anything, it will come. The responsibility of a good Marriage falls 100% on you. Oh yeah, do this EVERY night! And if you really want to take it to the next level, get a massage table on Amazon! $150ish. Then, get some coca butter and warm it with a candle warmer to massage her. Look up massage vids to learn but most importantly, simple let your love flow through your hands and communicate as to what she likes. And finally, this really isn't about sex, it is about a passionate love and selfless service to the best friend you have ever had! I dare you to do this for a month or so, in fact, I dare you to do this for her for the rest of your life!
