You had me at the first pick, and it was non-stop bangers the whole way through. Critters vs Gremlins is gonna be like Pokemon vs Digimon for some people (me, I am people) so that's gonna be amazing! Cobra is a pick I haven't seen anywhere else, so that makes this list based. My only thing I would say is, alongside Edgar, bring in David too, cause that would just be sick.

I like your ideas! I think that a Goonies rep or map is inevitable and I feel like Little Shop of Horrors is widely requested. I haven't heard of Cobra before. I'll have to check it out sometime. I think your moveset ideas for Critters could make them fun to play as.

Awesome vid, Naterz! Love all the points that you make at the end about people being mad at some of the characters who get added despite the fact that they always bring something new! That's the exact reason why we shouldn't be negative about anything! I'm not against anybody being in MVS at all! In the words of the main man himself, Tony Huynh, "Anyone, anything, is possible." The Goonies is one of my favourite childhood movies and it should definitely be in MultiVersus even if it wasn't already datamined, especially because fellow iconic 80s WB movie Gremlins is in there and both movies were in LEGO Dimensions together, but I wouldn't be too keen on Sloth personally. Like, I get it, he's iconic and all, but he doesn't really have much moveset potential and would just be a generic strongman. I feel like Data would be the best choice for a Goonies rep because he has the most moveset potential with all his gadgets. And while Sloth was chosen as the Goonies rep in LEGO Dimensions, LEGO game characters are nowhere as complex as fighting game characters and most of them share abilities with other characters in the game, plus they actually included the option to swap him out for the rest of the Goonies crew in the game. I do feel that we'll probably get two characters from The Goonies in the game, and if it were Data and Sloth together that'd be fine, but if we were to get only one character, I'd want it to be Data. Audrey II would be a very unique character. I've seen that moveset concept recently (and the fanart from Ctrl-Zee ages ago) and a character that starts off small and can eventually become giant sounds like it could be really fun if executed correctly. It might be too difficult to pull off though. I could also see them making him a boss fight instead, if they go down the route of multiple bosses, that is. Can't say I'd really care for the Krite to be honest. Would feel a little bit like a discount Stripe but with less moveset material, and I feel like they would cover a very similar niche to the Gremlins characters. I could see them appearing as enemies in a story mode with platforming levels, if we get something like that. I didn't even know that The Lost Boys was a WB property; particularly odd that I've never seen anybody suggest Edgar for this game despite the movie being a cult classic. I'd say yes to including him in the game; having a vampire hunter on the roster would be pretty cool. Definitely have him be young like in the first movie (the only good one, let's face it) but flesh his moveset out with weapons from the sequels. What's up with those garlic bolas though; did whoever made those sequels not remember that the original film established that garlic doesn't work on vampires? Well I never would have expected someone to suggest Cobra. I saw that movie once on TV a couple of years ago; wasn't fussed on it. I dunno, I feel like if you were gonna add someone who uses a lot of guns you could go with someone a bit more bombastic and well-known. And that grill bomb is a bit of a reach, man. Also there's one big problem here you didn't think about; the devs removed Velma's police car move from the game to pander to a dozen whiners on Twitter. There is no way they'd be game enough to add a playable cop. Whew, that was a big comment to type. Hope you don't mind; it's just that I had a fair bit to say.

This was actually a lot of fun to read! I mostly agree with everything you said. I totally see the moveset potential of data, I’m just definitely biased towards Sloth due to him being my favorite character. I see what you are saying with the Crite and Cobra, I just love the idea of having as many franchises represented, and I enjoy the characters so I thought I’d include them. I myself am also decently surprised with how few people have been requesting Edgar, or just Lost Boys reps in general. I do agree with keeping him young and pulling weapons from the other movies, that’s what I had envisioned for his character, but didn’t express it to well in the video. The Velma thought with Cobra is definitely a good point and one I hadn’t thought of. Thanks so much for the thoughtful comment and hopefully you enjoyed the video!

i've been planning my own little project abut a multiversus roster for a while, and had no idea you were the one behind those cards! they've been a HUGE help. while i have a few characters i imagined going in a.. slightly different dierction, you've been a huge source of inspiration and have a bunch i wasn't covering, would it be okay if i animate a few of your characters if i have the time?

My ranking of every pick you have based on how much I would like to see them 1:Audrey 2 2:Sloth(I would rather have Data) 3:Edgar 4:Cobra 5:Crite I don't see edgar and below getting in the game but Sloth and Audrey have a good chance

Reindog's background story mentions his world being destroyed by The Nothing. Which is a reference to The Neverending Story. I'd love to see Gmork as a fighter. He's the wolf from the movie. Not sure if they'd allow a stage that takes place with the Oracle in the background, but maybe if they edited out the boobs. And who owns the rights to the National Lampoon movies? Warner released them. I'd love to have the Griswald house as a stage.

As someone who turned 38 this year……I have more connection with characters from the goonies, wizard of oz, little shop of horrors, gremlins more than I do with a character like Ben 10, Steven universe……with that said I have had lots of fun playing fin and Jake, Steven and so on. So my point is the franchise will have an initial effect on a characters hype but that will always be overshadowed by their actual kit and play style. Are you telling me all The bugs bunny players are die hard fans? No but his kit is extremely powerful and fun so it’s easy to keep wanting to play him.
