Yeah Sean could be a great add on. He can be an MMA fighter he already has a ground & pound move and being from Brazil they can add some jiu jitsu moves too. That way he’s not just another unnecessary shoto like Kage. He’d have his own style.

As someone who only recently got into SF3 and mains Elena in it, I would LOVE to see her come back, but hopefully with A LOT of changes for balance. I'll admit people were right to hate her in 4. I started playing the series with Ultra SF 4 but refused to use her there because of the (well-deserved) hate she gets in that game. It's a shame that 4 ruined her reputation so much, considering how fun her personality is, and how much of a breath of fresh air she is compared to the rest of the cast. Everybody else is on a quest for honor, or power, or revenge, or to fight terrorists, and meanwhile Elena just wants to explore, dance, and make friends.

It's not impossible, but it def won't happen while Capcom still thinks the community wants more SF2. We can have new main characters (via Luke), I think having an existing character would be fine.

Sean should have been Luke's rival. It would have been perfect; the new relevance, being front and center, two students of the main characters duking it out, and two kindred spirits. I could only imagine that they're saving 3rd Strike characters for swift DLC, but even then the leak didn't have them. It's confusing. What are they thinking?

Sean to put it bluntly is liked international by a niche group of Street Fighter fans while in Japan they *HATE* him. You'll get Laura but Sean has a 0.1% of getting in.

I have a feeling this game will definitely have way more than one season of DLC. That leak was probably just for base game and first season. Capcom know people love SFIII, and the producers have gone on record saying how influential that game has been to how they've approached SF6, so i'd be very surprised if some of the SFIII cast don't make it in via a later Season release.

All very good picks, DiGi. The fact that Sean isn't front and center right now is criminal. In general, the lack of SF3 characters in spite of the urban aesthetic this game has going on is quite a headscratcher. And I agree with your concerns about Q from a lore perspective. I think a big part of his appeal IS how little we know about him. As for who my absolute NEED for a character is, it's gotta be Rainbow Mika! Kinda hoping that if she comes back, they bring back some of her old Alpha 3 moves. I love her revamped moveset from SFV, but there were a few moves I missed. Story-wise, I'd love to see Mika make it as a very successful superstar wrestler rather than continuing to be a rookie. Especially with the whole thing going on in SF6's single-player campaign where your created character learns under a character from the roster, it'd be interesting to see Mika in the teacher role as opposed to student. And while I do like Nadeshiko, I'd hope Mika would stand on her own with her moveset, too (but I'm sure Nadeshiko could work well as a character of her own if Capcom decided to go that route).

Not only that but we now know that Capcom would be completely okay with bringing back characters and/or overhauling them for their new stories, as was the case with Seth. I hope those two get the Seth treatment and get to have their own stories or at least the end to their stories

Definitely a good selection, here! *Dudley* and *Elena* would definitely be two of my personal picks, but I'd love to see *Eagle* (from the first game, as well as _Capcom VS SNK2_ and the later ports of _Alpha 3)_ back as well. That guy was awesome, and it'd be interesting to see how well his Escrima Stick fighting style would translate to the modern era!

In terms of you wondering why Sean isn’t already confirmed for the game, sadly I think it’s down to Capcom’s…I guess aversion to adding SF3 characters day one. Just got to hope that the DLC once again really picks up the incredibly poor SF3 representation.

Yeah, i think it's a marketing thing. They know people will shell out money for DLC of the SFIII cast. It's why they keep doing it. I just hope that this time when a bunch of SFIII characters appear as DLC that Sean is one of them. It's long overdue.

As amazing as SF3 cast is, it lacks that mass appeal that the World Warriors have. SF2 chars are the foundation, they're that branch that eases up the transition from title to title (exploring the new engine, getting familiar with the new artstyle/setting/vibe). Alpha and SF3 chars are more niche, so they're more fitting as fighters that get added after people get deeply in touch with the game's overall feel, when they know they're hype for it. When the time comes and we get to SF3 chars, the excitement is gonna be through the roof.

No one was saying get rid of all the WWs in favour of them, just that it's perfectly fine to throw in a couple to mix things up a bit yet Capcom just won't. SF6 wouldn't have died if Sean or Makoto was in the base roster.

Exactly what I’m thinking. SF3’s newcomers, Sean, Elena, Makoto, Alex, the ones who burst onto the scene with their undeniable passion for the sport, need the same direction Sakura was given. What I mean is, Sakura found a purpose in life for himself beyond the next fight. On the other hand, Ken ended up in the same position Cody was in in Alpha 3 except they say straight out he’s being blamed for something he had no part in. There’s no stake in it or tension to it. I have been hearing rumors that Feilong is in legal limbo with the Bruce Lee estate, I don’t know if there’s any truth to it. JKD and Capoiera are amazing to watch though, same reason I’m excited to see what they do with Juri. Any chances of Who Dat with G or Poison? Does G have any connection to Q? Is Seth still a lame character? Is he still insane? Who knows?

That would actually be awesome. Imagine playing World Tour mode and in the background of some of the stages you catch a quick glimpse of him quickly, almost like you weren't really sure if he was there or not in the first place. He could be stalking your character from the shadows throughout the game until he finally approaches you to fight when you've achieved certain requirements.

Twelve is an underrated one I want to come back. I think they should give us a proper reintroduction and actually show how deadly this thing is since he was lacking in third strike, I also liked his personality we got to see despite him being mostly mute since it is both threatening and kind of child-like with a bit of violent rebellion in his ending. Plus if they get the animation looking as good as it did for him before he could be beautiful. There are lots of others who should come back like Vega but I think Twelve deserves some spotlight since his Eleven got the crappy end of the stick in 5

I’m surprised no one is thinking about reworking any of the cast from the EX series or School Rivals into Street Fighter 6. Volcano Russo, Doctrine Dark, Skullomania, Batsu Ichimonji, Roy Bromwell. Just to name a few. Before anyone says its a different series Poison, Abigail, Hugo, Rolento, Cody, and Guy are all from Final Fight.

Makoto is so fun in 3S I'm ass at the game but her power and aggression is right up my alley, Dudley oozes style and has a very simple yet cool personality. I didn't settle on a character in SFV until Akira was released I doubt she'll be back any time soon if at all but I can dream.

Great list, huge agree with Sean and Dudley in particular. It's so good to see people pushing hard for Sean - I'm a fan of Luke but you're so right that Sean should be the face of SF6. The only characters I disagree with are Poison and Elena. I'm just not a massive fan of Poison, but I love Elena for the same reasons you said - and that's exactly why I think there are many other characters I'd like to see before her. The coolest thing about her imo was how she looked like a 3D model in the beautiful 2D sprite style of SF3. But SF6 is already in 3D, everyone is already beautifully rendered and animated, so she wouldn't really stand out. Her design isnt really anything to write home about - in fact I think she's one of the worst looking characters in SF4 because that constant movement just made her look overanimated. The only thing I'd like to see from her in SF6 is the dance-fighting capoeria style, but I'd much prefer a totally new fighter with that style - especially considering how Jamie and Kim are absolute slam dunks from a design standpoint

My pitch for Q in Street Fighter 6 would be to not make him apart of the roster but as an easter egg. Have the allyway stage change every 1 in 100 matches on that stage to a night version with no one but Q watching you fight. When you win the screen turns to black with Q's two yellow eyes on screen then the game would go back to normal like nothing happened.

Or alternatively, change it up so that Healing lasts a little while (instead of one big burst), but you only get a little bit of health back with each hit you land (IE. you get more for landing lots of hits) during that time. So you can still recover, but you'll need to actively work for it instead of just doing it once and then stalling!

I am a simple man. I see a new Digi upload with Sean in the thumbnail, I click. I still main SF3 2I and 3S just to play Sean. It's crazy that SF6 is doing something similar to SF3 with the hip-hop and new-generation stuff but Sean is not front and centre with Ken. Elena coming back would also be sick just to see how she moves, glows up, and heal spams. Her stages and music are also fantastic. Might be a little biased in who I want back since I'm a Kenyan guy named Sean tho🤷🏿‍♂️

Sean: Just got crazy with his basketball, ken training and his family fighting style that would be amazing, especially showing he has improved and gotten wayy better the last time we saw sean. Really nice video. What I mighty love so freaking much to see again in SF6 is Laura Matsuda. Her personality, her style, her design. She was my main in SFV and my favorite female character in the series ever. It would be a capital sin if Capcom ignore her. Also, I would like to see Rival Schools characters in SF6. I wanna see Akira again or at least give a chance to Batsu. It would be very ugly if Capcom only put Akira in SFV just to content Rival Schools fans only to forget again this franchise existed. 10:54 In the smup game Cannon Spike there is a boss called "Fallen Vega". He basically looked like a depressed zombie version of Vega. What if Vega turned themself into a zombie-like being in his search for eternal youth? I don't necessarily Want this for Vega, but it would be a sensible way for his story to progress

I was thinking EXACTLY THIS. Like, Fallen Vega could be a failed attempted at his search for immortality, or something. And maybe his story-arc in SF6 onwards could be him trying to un-do what he's done to himself. I definitely think it offers an interesting approach to a story arc for him.

Cyber-Akuma was a costume in SFV ad Mech-Zangief was a costume in SFIV and SFV (and a background character for Cosmic Elevator that was reused in SFxT that appears instead of Zangief when Zangief is fighting, like Alfonzo on the Spirit Tracks stage in Smash Bros when Toon Link is fighting) so I feel like the best shot of seeing Fallen Vega is as a costume.

Moral of the story is this game is a more than perfect setting for sf3 characters and it's a nonsensical tragedy if they don't make it in. The fact that capcom is after all this time STILL apprehensive about sf3 characters is ridiculous. SF3 not doing well at the time IN THE 90'S is an excuse that's stretched way more than thin

It's less capcom is apprehensive about 3 and more that they and apparently enough street fighter fans are somehow not exhausted by 2's spotlight hogging yet lol. The only ones who try to use the "3 didn't do well at first" argument for this kind of thing are the fans that just say "butt honda i con nick" like there's not 31 years worth of franchise afterwards to pull so many more interesting faces from. Slaves to one part of a fanbase's nostalgia forever
