Man. Charcoal is such a dirty medium. Is there any risk of permanent or semi permanent discoloring of hands/fingers from so much exposure? Similar to that of a car mechanic that is always handling dirty oily car parts? Great video btw. I would dabble in charcoal If it i could wear gloves lol

Of course you can wear gloves! Charcoal is only as dirty as you let it be

I feel the same but have seen these really good guys use Nitram to great effect (some demos here on KZbin) and I’m giving it a try - impressed so far ( sadly it hasn’t made me an instant accomplished artist. I have to quit being a spectator and put in some serious practice, that’s what made this artist good, not special tools.
