Художник слишком рано начал вдаваться в мелочи,обойдя вниманием самую большую пластику.он бы быстрее закончил эту работу. На первом этапе нужно расфокусировать зрение,рисуя свет и тень большими пятнами.,так с самого начала ошибки большой пластики исчезнут.

Drawing style is amazing, no doubt about it but I think upper lip's angle, lower lip's shape, longer moustache and too much projection of zygomatic Bone's has made it a little different than the real one.

I can do this with a pencil, but seriously how do you do that with a stick?

It's not a stick it actually vine charcoal it's really fun to use and pretty cheap to buy 😂 also you could try grinding some graphite on to a plate or something and use a tortillon or blending stump for the same technique.
