What about Charcot in children? I have 2 in-laws who have Charcot. 1 of which has two knees that are deformed and really swollen, the other has a screw on her foot that has not healed. Their only options are amputation... is that really it? Were they just diagnosed too late? 😞 13 years old and a 17 year old.

Hello Doctor im from Albania and my mom has diabetes foot and she cut her fingers before 5 months but after that my mom was diagnosed with charcot and her foot is not stable and now she cant walk. Can you sugest me something and i would me very happy if i can contact you.
