Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from... Côte-Rôtie?

A couple of strange bottlings from one of my fave Côte Rôtie producers--so of course they needed trying. It's not weird at all to find these grapes in other places obviously, but Ampuis? That was a new one for me.

Found a PN here in Vancouver for $50, maybe one for now and one for down the road. Jamet tried something new, and now maybe I will too. Love some of the items hanging on the walls, somethings I don't at all.

The Jean Luc Jamet pinot in Vancouver?! For sure, for interest's sake you should pop one. The price seems reasonable for Van. Is it a recent vintage? The one in the video is from '18, would be nice to hear how they are when a little fresher...
