I just spent 1/2 hour with Dyson live chat with no success. I only use my phone app and don't have a clue where the remote is. THANK YOU SO MUCH for showing me how to reset the filter life through the app! So glad not be be on the losing end of a flashing white "F". You're a rockstar.

Chard I have the newer model and love it. I have a lung disease and when I'm doing a breathing treatment in the opposite room, the Dyson purifier comes on to remove any unwanted particles or foreign substance the air. It was costly but the best investment in maintaining a clean air space in your home as well as keeping your immune system intact is worth the dollar bills you spend. Thanks for the video extremely informative.

The only thing is, the activated charcoal in the filter kind of gets full up so it might not work so well for chemicals in the air after its expired

Hi Chard, I wanted to make sure I was changing my filter correctly, which I was. But I bought mine about 3 years ago and it doesn’t do anything automatically, like turning on when it senses odors or smoke, etc. I think my model is a TP-01 and i paid around $250 for it. Since this video was made 3 years ago and you said you had that model for 3 years, yours is 6 years old. I would think since mine is three years newer it should have even more sophisticated electronics. I’m going to find the booklet that came with it. I’m pretty sure there was nothing in there about special electronics or using an app in your phone. Anyway, thanks for the video. I just subscribed.

I have an older version of this idk exactly which one but it basically won't blow cold air anymore and barely blows air at all because no matter what I do the top "loop" part won't seem to latch back on so it's just loose and easily gets dislodged or even falls off on its own. To make matters worse it seems impossible to Google! Do you have any suggestions if it's not latching? Am I supposed to turn it a specific way it looked super simple in the video but it just will not latch like that for me. I feel like I spent $400 on a giant useless hunk of plastic that I can plug into a wall lol

I couldn't get my cover to latch at first either. I had 1) the filter cover on upside down (plastic band side goes on bottom) and 2) the air blade was facing the wrong direction. Once I turned it around, then tried to latch it back on it did snap into place. (Center the release buttons over the large ovals - he shows this pretty well in the video.)

It sounds like the filter is stuck in the housing, try banging it out without damaging the housing.

Mr. Pink, go into the settings and choose "Shop parts and accessories" which will take you to the website with all the correct parts for your machine.

@@Saisei87 Okay, that's great. You might have to go into the Filter management in the setting to Reset the filter life. Hopefully, that will clear the code. But it seems it's not stopping the machine from working.
