As a professional from same industry often I am led away into details of technicalities, but while watching Charge I was absolutely hooked and really enjoyed it. It's not easy to put together a good action sequence edit; this was really well done. Love the Sound, Designs, Animations. For some reason this brought many memories from early 2000 good animation films. Good blend of stylization and realism in animation and visuals. This could easily pass for Love Death Robot episode; I mean it as compliment. Congratulations to Blender Studio Team and Everyone who worked on this. 👏👏👏

I agree for most part except the wide shot at 00:46 hit me like a ton of bricks. The big open dark areas off to the left and in the background made it look unfinished, and inconsistent with what has already been shown. It's still good work, and I'm sure it was a matter of time more than anything.

I don't know about anyone else, but the two hardest parts of animation for me are convincing sense of scale, and a convincing sense of weight. This short absolutely nailed both. The world feels large... the spaces, even tiny rooms, feel like spaces. And when things hit, they look like they hit and conveyed force. Great story extremely well executed and beautifully rendered.

Especially the animation was what I didn't quite like on this one. Well, I liked it in the fight scenes, but not in the slower ones. Several movements are weirdly fast for an old-man-character, for example closing the door in the beginning. But it's alright, the story carries it!

Just wow, look at how brilliant this short movie , the story and creativity of this video is far more stunning than those 3d disney movies and on par with Hollywood graphics and animation

I fin it funny how huge companies spend thousands to pump out the worst content yet, with this, effectively anyone , with the time and skill can create masterpieces like this.

Idk there is just such a special touch to the whole feel of the short film that he takes the folding chair and makes sure his wife is comfortable even though logically speaking there seems like there is no sense in it. 2:31

I love how the animation feels like it has some sturdiness and impact to it, the metal feels like metal! :D And the subtle character animation looks so nice!

Such good animation...one the best depictions of what it would really feel like fighting a robot created to destroy anything. It just rips your arm off and you have to put your entire bodyweight into a shove just to move one of its arms. Awesome stuff!
