One of my favorite parts of spear are the multiple ways to play it. My spear is pretty straight laced imo

My favorite "play for fun weapon" just remember one rule when using spear, never doing normal combo. Your guard timing always impressed me, I'm actually play in really similar way with you, but the different thing is I'm bad in guarding,

how do you hold on to charge spear's charge while moving the camera? the right analog stick and square button is not in a position where you can comfortably have 2 fingers near there.

Its not comfortable, but its possible. I use the base of my thumb to move the stick while holding Square with thumb. Can only move the stick left so I favor running in to the right direction if I am planning to charge. If anything else happens, I center camera with L1.

Tried Backflip JG on Anubis and Balmung. I really had a lot of fun practicing that since it’s one of the most badass ways of JG-ing other than Rising JG (Rising Edge + JG). Still have to try doing it on other Ashborns such as Dromi, Nuadha and Ra (Perfected it but sadly...no Backflips).

On the defense of CS, charge_glide.exe is flexible and pretty great Such a pity charge attack spd+ skill isn't a thing anymore, but one of the earlier updates more or less fixed it I've never used the backflip on purpose, but this new flip + guard thing is something to try ^.^ Oh ye, the image of your controller backflipping out of your hand is beautiful, thanks and your girl looks better without the Code Vein face deco mate, she looks so clean and just yes

I play spear like flips are the sexiest thing everXD So very different to this playstyle. I also don't really change my burst arts on my weapons to fit Aragami cuz I just like what I like. Maybe that coupled with Leeroy Jenkins is why I wouldn't be a good speed runner. Keep doing what you're doing cuz I sure as heck can't X3

A Balmung phased through a wall, missed everyone standing around my friend and then hit only my friend who was on a ledge because it hates her. Now she doesn't trust me because I told her ledges were safeXD

What button map did you use for the CS? Charging then jumping shouldn't be possible with the default unless you use three fingers in an ungodly position, lol! As for your comment on how it feels weird to use CS, I would say that especially due to the 3 BA system that it's difficult to make the biggest use out of the Fang mode, since the 3 BA system makes it much easier for the player to choose BA damage over maintaining Fang while also keeping flexibility (spamming BAs isn't flexibility after all, rip). Also, GJ with crispy JGs again!

I always only use the default button layout. Charge > Jump > Triangle while charge is child's play compared to Step while charge at 6:48. Had to use my index to hit circle. They got me. Edit: hey there, I stayed in Fang mode for like a good 70% of this video (

High-end CS mains tended to change button maps, from what I've managed to read, although I do think that was due to backflip travelling and Cressendo/Glide control back in GE2RB. While I won't say that changing button maps is bad, I've sometimes seen complaints from people about all the major controls being put on the right side of the controller being an ancient design and "useless", lol, and start saying "Imma put the Dive and Block controls on the D-pad at the left side of the controller". Good luck trying to move while doing some of those actions, lol! >70% Fang mode Lies, I'd say 50% at most, lmao!

How do you time JG on balmung and anubis? Do you just press guard as soon as Anubis opens its mouth wide to devour?

Depends on the shield. But at poiny blank with a Buckler, you hit guard as soon as you see the slime.
