Yes I can tell you absolutely what not to get. Do not get a folding lawn chair style one. They are in magazines, and advertised on the net. Most have proprietary joysticks that they cannot repair or get parts for. Stick with a pride, shoprider or merits. The Pride passport looks nice, and has a "normal" joystick.
