Where did you get this deck recipe? I asked NaviOOT if he thought charged devilsaur always viable in big priest when the expansion came out and made my own version of this deck that almost mirrored it with holy fires as well for even more burst and heal, but I kept it fairly similar to the meta big priest with more minions. He said it was interesting, but not really viable.

Wouldn't it be better to take out Yshaarj just because you don't get the charge effect when the dino is pulled from the deck edit: also if you pull out the dinos you don't have targets for the Shadow Essence and they become dead draws. Maybe you just drop Yshaarj for a Velen for a late 10 damage with a solo mind blast. Or extra healing.

Velen would cut the chances of getting devilsaur from shadow essence by 17%. And with decks like this one the winning is not important, it's how you do it. Theres a fine balance in it as it is between memes and viability.

Why not cut the Embraces for Silence so you can charge dinos from the hand?

DneBays you fill in where other minions would be such as lich King statues etc with more board clear since they aren't a part of the theme of the deck. Two Mana for four dmg to all minions is really good especially when you can sneak in a damaging hero power with your leftover Mana. This decks high mid game to late game is almost unbeatable so you just gotta make it there

I draw Y'sharriaj every fucking game, like 9/10 times its in opening hand or next few turns. I tried Mass Dispel btw firbat, it doesnt work. It is sometimes ok, but its too heavy to use as a draw resource and not reliable enough to influence most games. Against tempo, when something nasty or lots of nasty things get tempoed out, your gunna lose most the time anyways because of the pressure so you have to spend the 4 mana for more hard removal or die. Its only really won me games against paladins really I think.

I find the deck hugely unreliable! Pure draw RNG required to win. Drawing your big minions at the start messes combo. AND your board clear combos suck if u don’t have the 2 combo pieces. 20% matches you steam roll and 80% you die by turn 8-10. Did anyone actually have > 50% winrate ?!
