400 miligrams is NOT a healthy dose of caffeine, it is the MAXIMUM dose for a healthy adult to consume safely without risking health complications. Ideally, you should limit yourself to one energy drink at most per day which is 160 miligrams. Two are unhealthy already. If you have a heart problem or are caffeine sensitive, do not consume ANY amount of caffeine. If you are a healthy child or healthy teenager, do not consume more than 100 mg of caffeine. Infants and toddlers should have absolutely NO CAFFEINE.
