So you sitting at red light somebody 🤔crash into you.. and you left the scene. What's the logic behind the charge . When it's obvious you didn't cause the accident.😂

Good to know this info. Just had someone clip my car recently over some road rage. He was flying up behind me while I was traveling the speed limit in a single way of travel lane. He started tailgating me so I let off my gas without applying pressure to the break. He rode his brights and tailgated closer. Due to the time of day and conditions of the road this left me unable to see so I put on my hazards and came to a slow and safe stop. I rolled my window down and yelled back to the other driver back off my ass and turn your brights off I can’t see the roadway. He decided to go onto the bike lane and sidewalk to try to get around me. I saw this and attempted to pull ahead and close to the left hand as possible (raised median) because I saw how close he was and he clipped me. I don’t think he realized it and he kept going. My fiancé in the passenger seat who’s pregnant immediately called it in as a hit and run. We managed to pull around him and get him stopped about a block down the road. He came up to my passenger side yelling, hit my mirror, at that point I got out and told him he hit my car and tried explaining how his actions were making it impossible for me to drive safely. He was irate however, and when attempting to inspect damages on my vehicle he was yelling at me and pacing, and when attempting to inspect damages on his vehicle while maintaining distance from him, he attempted to raise his fists at me to intimidate me. Police eventually arrived after I spoke with dispatch and advised them of what was going on, pre warning them that I was a valid conceal carry holder and that I had my firearm on me, and advised responding officers accordingly. They had me fill out a statement, was clearly an incident of road rage after inspecting local city cams. Told them since it was a minor paint swap it wasn’t worth insurance claim or anything. My mirror wasn’t busted and there was no other damages. No one was hurt. Guy was just irate and wasn’t worth my time so I wasn’t going to press charges or anything. Police let us go. Don’t know if the other driver was cited or anything.

How are you today sir I have a question If a commercial vehicle 18 wheeler going about 40 - 50 miles per hour Changes lanes Into another drivers lane Hits the car Causes damages to the car As well as to the passengers in the car And keeps going without stopping The driver of the car comes to a complete stop On the express way After the accident Eventually catches up to the commercial vehicle And have him pull over Call state trooper He's issued a citation For changing lanes When unsafe to do so If you were the attorney Handling that case How would you handle It While client received over 6 months of pain management 3 injections to upper neck And 3 to lower back two surgeries Microdiscectomy to cervical spine And then total disc arthroplasty C4-5/C5-6 cervical radiculopathy Do to herniated disc in the neck caused from the accident With Commercial vehicle coverage being 2 million dollar insurance policy I appreciate your feed back And Thank you for your time

When I was returning from the airport, a bus hit me and sped off. I was badly injured and underwent a surgery on my neck. I have cc footage of the incident, as well as the number of the bus. Can someone inform me of the steps I need to take to claim my compensation?

Pickett Reintroduces Hit-And-Run Bill 2/19/2013 HARRISBURG - Legislation that will help to save the lives of those involved in hit-and-run vehicle crashes has been reintroduced in the new 2013-14 legislative session by Rep. Tina Pickett (R-Bradford/Sullivan/Susquehanna), author of the proposal. The legislation would specifically deal with hit-and-run crashes involving serious injury or death and assess criminal penalties upon the passengers in a fleeing vehicle. “Under current law, there is no legal requirement for anyone to call for help when a hit-and-run accident occurs, and if that crash is serious, every second is important in making sure any victims get prompt medical attention,” Pickett said. “The present law makes it easier for someone who has caused an accident - either a passenger or a driver - to flee if he or she may be under the influence or afraid of contacting authorities for any reason. If the passengers in that fleeing vehicle are able to call for help, the law should make it clear they must do so.” House Bill 401 would hold passengers traveling in the vehicle at the time as legally responsible as the driver of that vehicle for reporting the accident to authorities as soon as possible. Pickett’s legislation is modeled after similar legislation in New York, known as “Steven’s Law.” A former Bradford County resident, age 17, was killed by a hit-and-run driver while cycling in Ashland, N.Y. on March 22, 2007. The body was not discovered until the next day because neither the driver of the vehicle, nor the passengers in the vehicle, reported the accident to police. “It is the intent of this legislation to hold equally accountable those passengers who, by their presence in the vehicle, are involved in and knowingly witness a hit-and-run accident involving serious injury or death, yet decline to report the accident to authorities,” Pickett said. Under House Bill 401, penalties for passengers who fail to report a hit-and-run accident would be the same as those imposed against a driver who is guilty of the same offense. If the victim suffers bodily injury, the violation is a third-degree felony, with a minimum prison term of not less than 90 days, and a mandatory minimum fine of $1,000. If the victim dies, the violation is a third-degree felony, with a minimum prison term of not less than one year, and a mandatory minimum fine of $2,500. The legislation has been referred to the House Transportation Committee for consideration.
