Thank you so so much for this video. I do, however, have a question what if the child had just turned 18 within the month does not own a vehicle was hit by a car that fled the scene. The child has insurance, but lives at home with their parents and is dependable on them, although he has his first job. What are the options and outcomes in these situations?

Thanks for the question. Depending on the jurisdiction and the insurance policy, the child may be able to advance a claim. In some jurisdictions there are also funds available to the victim where there is no insurance coverage.
