Am I correct in saying that this adapter will only output 20v 7a with a 240v input? If that's the case It would be limited to 100w max at 120v in North America.

Just imagine having ChengX caps in your expensive 140w charger, ChengX is a joke amongst Power guys, people just taunt having ChengX caps and Lenovo went ahead and used them. But I do appreciate the funky capacitor daughter board.

If I still go to school with a legion laptop, I'd probably buy this instead of carrying the 300w power brick 😆 Though I haven't read if it can charge while it's turned on.

yes, you can charge the laptop like with a normal charger while using it. it will just be slower and you won't be able to use the performance mode.

I want to ask, does this work with the 135w cable square connector? I got this 140w but didn't know that it only has usb c cable and I don't have the tools to test the square tip 135w cable. Edit: answer my own question. Yes, it does, it says that on the box but I never translated it so didn't know.

Hey, many thanks for that last note. I also wanted to know if the square tip cable would be able to charge my 2022 Legion (135W). I just ordered through Ali a square tip to USB c cable to do just that!

Is this compatible with Lenovo Legion Slim 5 Gen 8 14" OLED? Does it allow the laptop to run in hybride mode graphics (use Nvidia 4060)? I used another 140w GaN charger, and it only allows it to run using integrated GPU.

Is this charger compatible with the legion 5 15ARH05 model? It's power brick is 170w with a slim type 3 pin connector. I don't mind cutting some of the power out as I will only be using it for productive tasks when I go outside.

They write pd 3.1 while it's not... Pd3.1 ks 28v 5a while lenovo only charges at 20v 7a So a conventional pd 3.1 wont work ..

it says 28V 5A both printed on the power brik and both on the power-z test shows 28v-5A...so why do you say that?

The pc doesnt take 28v 5a, it only takes in 20v 7a So pr3.1 is incompatible

@@mohcineelharras2707 Which PC? This power brick can be used for anything compatible not only a specific laptop. And since the subject is the power brick reviewed and it is compatible as long as it is capable and any capable sink could take advantage of its compatibility I think it's fair to say it is correctly advertised. Don't you think? It's like saying that you car can do 180 km/h but since in highway you cannot do more than 130km/h they are claiming something that is not. If you race track the car you can achieve the advertised 180 km/h. Isn't it or did i miss your point?
