Have to admit, I'm a bit nervous about the upcoming game against the Broncos...they look like the real thing! Right now, I don't have much confidence that we can beat them this year, but we'll see. If they do beat us, then we'll be 2-3 and tied for last place with three straight losses. Scary stuff. The Broncos defense looks for real. And I don't know how our offense is going to change in just two weeks. We've had trouble scoring in the second half of most of our games. But we'll see.

Crazy to say this but our weakness is our offense! I really can’t recall a chargers offense this bad since I support them (20 years). Herbert hasn’t even reached 200 passing yards.. come on. I know you wanna establish the run but you need to have a balanced offense. I remember rivers throwing for 4K yards a season with no weapons… so that’s not an excuse. The Real problem is Greg Roman…. His scheme is outdated. There was a reason why everyone was skeptical with his hiring. Hopefully as the season progresses the offense improves

Don’t think Herber is playing bad at all. New OC whose reputation is not exactly great for coordinating passing offense, a subpar receiving group including TE, two injured tackles , and a lousy interior OL, and a high ankle sprain limiting him in game and causing him to miss practice(also missed time with foot injury limiting work with new offense in preseason). All of that vs two great defenses is a recipe for disaster. Has he been great? I think at times he has, but overall, no; but those are some real issues he’s been facing and there’s real limitations for the qb in this offense going forward. This offense is about dominating the run game and it’s massively failed for two weeks, thats not Herbert’s fault. Through all that Dobbins catches that ball and this team could easily be 3-1 despite the manifold problems

This is a low scoring run the ball first team; he’s gonna have career lows this season. You add these weapons, that makeshift line, on a bad ankle vs the chiefs & I thought he played well. It was a tight game. Palmer keeps his feet, he scores a td. Players have to make plays, it’s the difference 7-9 10-7(which is the record I was hoping for)

I think if they get herbert to start using his feet running things open up tremendously. Not because herbert is a great runner or anything, but because herbert will learn to move and give his receivers time to seperate if they are struggling. It also helps out when the line starts failing

Chargers were out coach during the Chiefs game. We do not have any WR weapons and Chiefs n Knew we would run the ball. Chiefs adjusted their defense to stop Dobbins and Edward’s. Penalties killed us, lack of discipline. Time outs wasted. Offensive line just sucks. We have no depth. Close winning doesn’t count, either we WIN or we LOSE. Typical Chargers.

(according to an article I read last week) Even salary wise he wouldn’t necessarily break the bank if we got him. It would be easy to move some money around to accommodate him. Also, he’s not only got a familiarity/relationship with G Ro, but with Hortiz as well.

Love the show. I am all down for them getting Amari or another inexpensive receiver. I think they believe the Chark/Herbie combo with Ladd and gimmicks to Johnston will be enough to keep balance. I wouldn’t put it past him, all we really know is he definitely has hands (can catch). He has played with all rookies (1,000 yards with Lawrence as a rookie) and backups, except Goff, and Chark and Goff did great when Goff tried to throw for more than 10 yards. All Chark needs to do is catch 1 or 2 deep balls and the offense could open up. #CharkHelp

If the focal point of the offense is to be the best running team in football then they need to take that $55 million a year and pay for the best O Line in the NFL, resign Dobbins, draft a young backup RB, & pay heinike to hand the ball off. Herbert has absolutely regressed, especially the past 10 games. Hes lost 6 of his last 9 games going back to last year and the run game carried the team in his 3 wins, he hardly had to do anything. Name the last time Herbert led the team down the field on a game winning drive? Hes being paid top 3 QB money and delivering bottom 5 results. There are ancient QBs who have had major injuries like Flacco and Cousins who are lighting teams up. There are scrubs no one wanted like Darnold and Baker who are lighting teams up. Herbert is playing like a backup. Should have traded him last year. Move off that huge contract he hasn't come close to earning, and you free up a TON of cap space for Harbaugh to build his team.

It’s just hard to watch us constantly fail in the end and watch all the talent slip away and waste time. I’m not saying I wasn’t excited to finally have solid coaching but so far through 5 weeks idk.
