Guys let’s get real here Mike Williams was an amazing talent but unfortunately the harsh reality is he is injured far too often. Going back to the Telesco well just seems like desperation. There are better options Njoku, Cooper etc. I would think that Harbaugh believes the best ability is availability and so sorry he is not available. It seems like you have the same player in DJ Chark why not focus on the interior oline!!!

Both of MW’s major injuries happened when Staley had him catching screen passes where he doesn’t have the skillset to shake tacklers and avoid getting hit by multiple defenders. I doubt Harbaugh is going to make that mistake.

Love Mike W but I am sorry he is in the category with Bosa. They just cannot stay healthy. No more glass/injury prone pickups! They will get us all hyped up and go down being down for the season early. Also, Simi was a preseason beast but he ain’t doing a damn thing right now. At some point, we gotta take shots down the field. Hell I ain’t on the Brandon Rice hype train but give him a chance and get DJ Chark healthy and back to see if he lives up to the hype. Justin also has to heal up and step up. Patty Mahommes makes average receivers look like stars even with an iffy O-line. If Justin is who we know he can be, he has to do the same. In order to do that though, we need better play calling and interior protection once our heavy hitters come back!

A team letting a player walk in FA and then trading for that player and giving up a draft pick is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. So they spent the whole offseason evaluating the roster and released Mike Williams and did not attempt to restructure or resign. If Mike Williams had a chance to be on this team it would have happened then. It would be historic and very very troubling if Hortiz did this. Number 1 it’s super desperate and silly to give up a pick for someone who was on your roster a few months ago. 0 percent chance this happens. If they wanted to trade for anyone period you would have thought Hortiz was already looking week 2-3 for a targets so they could get them in before the bye. We don’t need to be arrogant and act like a Greg Roman offense is what we are going to live or die with we need another receiver. That’s very clear. QJ is making some moves but he still not veteran. AFC playoff ready is with good teams. We need somebody solid to give us some veteran leadership but we have everybody we need on our roster already. That’s all I’m saying Palmer stays hurt just as much as Keenan Allen. We got Chark and he’s hurt just like we know this professional defensive coordinators know that as well and they are going to continue to stack nine in the box and make us throw the ball Dobbins looked good the first two games but the Steelers shut it down and so did the chiefs.

Chark might make a difference. Him and Herbie were doing high level stuff in training camp and practice. Dude’s a vet, he’ll at least be where he is supposed to be. Damn shame he got hurt because there’s at least a chance him and Herbert would be cooking. Rice also should be given a shot. He is probably doing a little extra studying with one of the greatest, Jerry Rice. Also made some grabs during camp that Johnston can’t make, at least not now.

Right now D. Davies is doing nothing at Special teams, and is not being really involved on the offense, just a couple of plays... i think the son of the GOAT must be moved in and have an oportunity on the offense to show what he is capable to do.

Drop bosa by end of season and free up cap space for next year. Need to take money out of the defense and put it in the O line a bit more, especially if Jessie’s defense can keep making mid players look like top talent like Folton and so on. Bosa is old and hasn’t played a full season in half a decade

I don’t understand the fascination with Rice. He was a 7th round pick, so no one in the NFL thought he was particularly talented. He didn’t do anything in the preseason. Some of that might have to do with Stick, but Fehoko was also out there with Stick and outplayed Rice by a mile.

The jets specifically are not rushing him back from his injury, and their plan was to give him limited snaps early in the season to ramp him up. That alone voids a lot the points you made about his snaps, targets, etc.

Ya know Justin's not going to get better physically if they keep playing him every game. I think Jim should sit him until he's about 80-90 % healed. By playing all it's doing is keeping his ankle from healing. That's why they signed Taylor. Of course I'm definitely not a Dr or Jim, but to me that that'd make sense.

7 offensive penalties against the Chiefs. Those were drive killers. Loosing your starting tackles with an injury to your mobile QB who can’t move around is just about as adverse as a season can get. Mustipher was a mistake. Bozeman was off in this game. Vicious cycle indeed.

The offensive line play has literally killed the Chargers. The Steelers game and Chiefs games were winnable. The defense has been great but those pre-snap penalties were probably the worst I have ever seen. I'm quite sure Jim Harbaugh has Roman and company working on that around the clock. Denver will be a real test for the Chargers.

As a Chiefs fan I love it! Run that antiquated offense with Roman as OC using Ravens re-tread RBs. This isn’t college… strong OL/DL is the foundation of any well run team. This is a big lift! Herbert’s real money kicks in this off season, Slater will want 30M per, Mack is done, Bosa can’t ever get on the field.
