That's one of the years Patriots were caught cheating (spy gate) but were only warned by the NFL... a couple of years later when it blew up and it was made public they showed spy gate was alive and well during that 14-2 run where we lost in the post season. Belichick/Brady literally cheated us out of a super bowl appearance.

The offense can move the ball and score. Special teams are adequate. The O-line isn't the problem, it's the D-line that needs help. Signing middle of the road FA DT's every year isn't cutting it. Spend the draft picks and money on that position and stop the run. Staley and Telesco know this they just need a good draft to do it.

We are going to be fine. Long term the adversities of this season is great for building experience for continued growth.
@bartbutkis3 жыл бұрын
What?? 😂😂 What does that even mean? If the truth be told, the Chargers did what Telesco has always done; bring in old, injury prone free agent OL that break down and then have to play back-ups that have no business being on an NFL field to start multiple games. Rashawn Slater was the one diamond that Telesco brought in but he was a 1st round pick and not found at the 99 cent store or found on the street.
@jakeuchiha95403 жыл бұрын
@@bartbutkis I see young DB’s, young linebackers, young QB, young new head coach. This was never going to be an overnight success. It’s a process and y’all are to damn impatient. It’s a New hope and y’all so stuck in the past you can’t see the new move towards the future
@jakeuchiha95403 жыл бұрын
We are 4-3 and had the 3rd hardest schedule through week 8. Now on the back end we have the 5th easiest schedule on the back end. This is a good point and yes there needs to be improvements but Corey Lindsey worked with Aaron Rodgers for many years the amount of knowledge he can pass to Justin is limitless as far as experience. If we make playoffs that’s a huge win compared to where we all thought we were going to be before the year.
@bartbutkis3 жыл бұрын
@@jakeuchiha9540 "It's a New Hope" 😂 Oh my word! "I see young DBs" You have a 32 year old CB that can't run and will be gone next year. "I see young LBs" You have someone you traded up for in the 1st round that is a 4-3 LB and can't play Staley's 3-4. He's lost his job and is a back up now. We have a young QB. Yes we do and potentially a great one who is going to get killed because there's no one on the R side that can pass block. You have another DLmen that the Chargers moved up into the 1st round to draft who is terrible at stopping the run and is below average in pass rush. He'll play out next year and then be asked to walk. We have the worst special teams in the entire league...AGAIN. We have a young coach who is in his 1st year as a head coach and just isn't ready yet. He hopefully will develop but is not ready right now. Look, I am a Charger fan and don't care about any other team. I've just seen this GM make the same damn mistakes for the past 8 years and nothing changes. Those are the facts my friend and a New Hope isn't going to do anything to change that.

The Chargers name and logo was created and originated in Los Angeles with a USC L.A.Memorial Coliseum historical connection and Tommy Walker aka”Tommy Trojan”and then owner Barron Hilton. The Chargers name originated from the USC football games and Tommy Walker aka (Tommy Trojan) famous historical Charge chant he created “Da Dah Dah Da“ Charge! “Da Dah Dah Da Trojans Warriors Charge! Tommy Walker then musician /team kicker helped inspire then owner Barron Hilton “R.I.P.” to name the Chargers football team from the famous Charge chant he created as a USC musician band member /team kicker. When Barron Hilton attended the USC football games the previous years as a football fan at the L.A.Coliseum he would hear the Tommy Walker Charge chant. When Tommy Walker would run out to the football field to attempt the extra point kicks as the team kicker the USC team music band would play Tommy’s Charge chant he created as the team musician and the football fans that attended the games would yell out his Charge chant “Da Dah Dah Dah Da” Charge! “Da Dah Dah Da “Trojan Warriors Charge! to motivate him to score the extra point kicks. So that’s where Barron Hilton got inspired and got the idea to name the Los Angeles Chargers football team. The proof is in the Chargers 1960 original shield logo with the horse charging into battle. The Charger is a horse charging into battle. very similar to the USC Trojan Warrior with shield and sword and horse mascot charging on to the field to battle. Hence the horse in the Chargers 1960 original shield logo. The lightning bolt idea came from Barron Hilton liking the Air Force College football team lightning bolt logo as a College football fan. Till this day that famous Charge chant is heard at the game’s and through out many other sporting game events. The Los Angeles Chargers r the true original L.A. born team now back playing in the original birthplace and not too many team’s can claim that fact. Rams were born in Cleveland 1936 and Raiders were born in Oakland 1960 And that’s a fact these other teams can’t ever claim. And also the Chargers r the true Southern California NFL team because they have never left Southern California unlike the Cleveland/ST.Louis Rams and the Oakland/Las Vegas Nevada Raiders. Los Angeles Chargers r born in L.A. in 1960 and played their first season ever in Chargers history at the L.A.memorial Coliseum finishing the season with a 10-4 record. Let’s Go Los Angeles Chargers! The true original L.A. born team now back playing in the original birthplace L.A. Da Da Dah Dah Da Charge!!! ⚡️🐴 🏈…
