At the beginning of the video when I had a first glance at your system, I estimated that the best you could deliver to your Tesla is about 1600 watts. You got 1400. The calculation in my head was pretty good. Cool setup literally. Not too many RV solar setups can run an AC unit. A handy conversion is 746 watts is 1 HP. So you are storing up about 2 HP-hours every hour. That sanity check tells you that it's going to take awhile to get driveable range. Enjoyed watching.

I notice some power stations have a car charger plug now, as well as several other high power needs. So this is very interesting. I have a higher power draw appliance I want to use, so always checking these kinds of things out. Glad the AllPowers is doing great for you!

You can dramatically increase performance if the solar panels were on actuators to face the sun more directly. Also, the Anker solix has some high voltage ports that could also help.

Thank you for your information about charging a Tesla. We have a motorhome and have a Tesla. For my concerns, not being a particle is not a problem. This gives us more options while we are towing or Tesla which is more important. The grounding issue is nice to know about.

One thing to know about it electric vehicles is that you can charge them from 0-85% in the same amount of time it takes to go from 85%- 100%. Tesla also recommends not charging them to 100% all the time for the sake of battery health.

Unless it’s a lfp chemistry. Lifepo4 batteries can go to 100% always per tesla owners manual.

My big EcoFlow has a 30A plug, wonder how well that would work. My future plans with that is to get some lithium batteries and plug it in to the solar charge port so I can keep it constantly charging at night while using solar during the day. Right now, I just use it for backup power at my house, as I currently don't have a van or RV (yet).

The 110V charger they have will only work up to 12A it looks like, but I'm sure it's not tough to rig something up to that 30A plug!

I have a Marxon power station with a 30amp outlet. I'm thinking that would work fairly well.

If you could make or find a higher output connector, that would work great! Maybe one of the standard home connectors may do the trick, though they may be 240V. I've not done any research into the matter though.

Get a 240v 8kwh-12kwh inverter buy some ground panels and it will charge in 1-8 hours

You might need to update the solar panels on the roof with higher efficiency and larger battery 🔋 for the bus 🚌

Yeah but you can’t really go off of trying to charge the Tesla from 80% to 100% that’s ridiculous. Instead you should drain the Tesla to 20% and then charge it to 80% and that should take you like 12 hours which is very feasible if you’re only driving 100 miles a day total or less. Also with your large solar setup you could easily put a 30 amp plug and do 220v at charge that car from 20% to 90% in like 3 hours. We love our Tesla and we charge ours every night on a simple 20 amp 120 plug with our solar on our rv however, we drive less than 100 miles everyday. If you have an actual house with actual proper 6 to 10 kilowatts of solar panels and some batteries and a Luxpower 12kpv inverter then you can always charge in just a few hours.
