Well I meant the electric grid .. I do have a dynamic electricty contract (with prices of electricity per hour - upload battery when price is low and downloading the battery when price is high ). I do so already with my panels with my solar system and batteries ). The question is can taht be done with the R4000 as well? Uploading R4000 when price is low and downloading R4000 when price is high. On annual basis I need to pay the net amount only between buying and selling electricity.

I already have 600W solar with 2 100AH LifePo4 batteries via a MPPT solar controller with a 1000W inverter. I'm assuming I'll plug the 30A output into my AC-in on inverter, and for shore power use the same circuit for 110VAC when parked with hookups? Wondering if the manufacture or anyone offer any standard procedures for this type application? Thanks
@HVACRSurvival11 ай бұрын
I'm probably not understanding your question but you're asking me if you'll plug your existing thousand watt inverter into the 30 amp output on the all powers AC output? I don't understand if that's the case why you would want to convert from AC back to DC back to AC? If this isn't the case, can you further explain please.
@HighCountryRambler11 ай бұрын
@@HVACRSurvival Most inverters found in RV's also have a AC input intended for when generator or shore power is on the inverter switches inverted circuits over to generator AC without needing the inverter turned on. More I think about it, when I remove my generator will likely explore connecting this in the same manor as the old generator.

Hi- I am using my R4000 mostly as a UPS and is always plugged to both the 600 watt panel that came with it and into the 130 outlet. I noticed that a few time already the R4000 will drain without charging all the way down to 5%. For each time I have to turn off and on the R4000 then it will charge as normal. How can this be a reliable UPS if it stops charging randomly when charged to the AC? Likewise the 600 watts panel I find to be lacking in durability. There are fabric where the crease between panel have worn out only after about 9 months of use. It is not producing more than 400 watts of power and right now I am having the run around from allpowers. Customer service is very poor.

There’s some large differences. The Delta pro has expandable battery packs. It has the capability of doing 230 V and it can be parallel together with other units to give you a massive amount of power and capacity. I’ll be doing a review on the Delta pro here in probably the next 2 to 3 weeks. Along with the fully automatic home transfer switch. There’s a major price difference between the two but if you have the money, I definitely go to Delta Pro.

Can it power off of solar until it needs to use the battery?
@patsav671810 ай бұрын
It would need to go through the charge controller (which is in the device to control the solar input power because solar energy can come in either too high or too low to be stable). It would then go to the battery but from there could go straight through into whatever device you use.

the output loss on series wired panels is why so many micro-inverters per panel systems exist. one spot of shade = whole array drops output significantly. plus there's slightly less loss with the AC power coming down from the roof, vs. long runs of DC cabling, which also uses larger gauge wire(cost more). not to mention a few globs of bird poo, leaf, rain, clouds, bugs, dirt, dust all effect the series wired stuff far worse. granted that's a small portable setup and a micro-inverter setup there would be rather null, probably waste energy and cost more. lol
@viyusavery248 Жыл бұрын
Can you explain a little more please? Is it better to get mirco inverters?
@throttlebottle5906 Жыл бұрын
@@viyusavery248 in a larger permanent installed setup yes, because the panels are in parallel then, meaning each panels output is converted(micro-inverter) to AC power and sent down at that higher voltage. so one panel being shaded or breaking won't effect the output of others, the others will continue putting out whatever they can. Now, in series wired panels one partial shaded panel effects the whole string of panels output and if one breaks completely the output of the whole set goes to zero until the bad one is replaced or bypassed.
@honumoorea873 Жыл бұрын
Not true, it's not that simple. Micro inverter got a very bad efficiency over their 50% rating. They can't work without grid(global or micro). If panels are shaded locally, there are optimisers.
