These are V4 dispensers. The power cabinets are still V3. The cabinets need to be swapped out to have higher output. Also the Cybertruck does need to go further back when the dispensers is installed in the back instead of the side like this one.

If my memory serves me correctly, the v4 dispenser cable has immersion cooling all the way to the plug handle compared to the v3. I’m curious to see what the charge curve would be like at the nominal 800 volt side since you can push a lot more kW’s through at 500 amps vs 400 volts. The v3+ cabinet with v4 post supposedly can push over 300 kW for a short period of time. Ballparking over 800 amps is quite mind blowing come to think of it.

@felaxchow207 yup, sounds about right, but I think Tesla does something to protect the life of the batteries. The v2 150kW charger charges the Cybertruck from 2-80% in 50 minutes. Not much longer than the 250kW charger.

No its the software. Tesla have not released 500 kw for the CT yet.

Either way, they will just change the charge curve. It'll drop in speed pretty quick. The x250kWh drops pretty quick. The 150kWh chargers only take 10-20 minutes longer even though it's half the speed. It should double the length.
