This hurts to watch. You can see the hurt in her eyes, because she did her best and she wasn't treated right. But look at her now, she has grown from it. Being young and not treated fairly and those who laughed and made it hard for her wasn't easy for her. yes, if 50% was the judge vote they should have voted that solid 50% for her excellent performance. the remainder % could have come from the text vote. even if text may not have been as many coz she did not have d backup to generate those text, still she would have won. jan.30,2011 sun 5:40pm texas time. i was watching i.am.charice.tv & japan has a special show on Life of Charice & they have some clips of vids of cha's singing contesta & lastest LBS & this "if u were u" she sang so beautifully w/ lots of emotional that made me in tears and lots of goosebumps runneth over my body,i didnt get enought fr the clips so i googled this to watch the whole song.so amazing voice i've never heard in my life that will give me lots of goosebumps,so real voice.luv2watch it.

it might look that way but the reality is that the opportunity is so scarce for generations that it seems the kids are always working for the parents. imagine this...most college grads working at mcdonalds while in the US a highschool dropout can do the same or better in any age group. or better yet, a homeless person in the US has a better chance of getting a job than a college grad. the poverty is so bad that it takes few generations to get out of poverty. grad in PI.
