I just went through this “not caring” about anything, after going through a trauma, no energy, very flat, weak, couldn’t concentrate or felt like I couldn’t pray, read, anything. Really needed to hear this. I’m coming out of it now after 3 months of struggling, but this will equip me more for any “next time”. Thank you, Barry. You just asked if anyone is getting this. For me, this is particularly helpful as I feel we are going into much darker days in which our faith may be sorely tested. Brilliant teaching as per normal for Barry.. For me his classes were my favourite ones. I respond to his teaching as it gives me energy, strength to get up and go on and reach the victory. I have had those days and weeks and sad to say months of bad attitude so I totally get shape he's saying... My body My choice...yeah but it effects everything in my life... This is OH so TRUE - I always say to anyone who would listen (usually my students) that EVERY DAY, when I wake up, I usually do not feel joyful BUT, after praising God and Praying, I get a LIFT (a get up and go) in my spirit, soul and body, ready to take on the world!!! HALLELUJAH!!! I must say though, that I have learned to steer myself up by my CONTINUALLY listening and learning from Teachings of Andrew Wommack, as well as from other wonderful Teachers of the WORD of God, including you Barry. The KEY is not to rely on our EMOTIONS - A Great Teaching from Andrew Wommack that i recommend is "HARNESSING YOUR EMOTIONS". I learnt very much from this Teaching at the start of my FAITH walk with The Lord (and continue to learn - EVERY DAY)!!! I learned very early that it does not happen magically!!! This is really good. Although my joy has been restored now, it's still a process as I have been so down and resentful for so long. I was a missionary in Thailand but have struggled with a lot of things from personal to financial to etc that I've lost my joy completely. Not only can I relate to this but helping me move on more. I also agree with the attitude thing. I've become very impatient and even spent time arguing with people on the internet about science and politics. And you carry that arguing spirit anywhere. The pamdemic made things worse for me. But thank God I'm over those now and have also made a decision to not engage too much on social media anymore.
