@@gipsymelody1268 trust me that outside zoo hours for the public, they are stuck in little cages inside. Not every zoo is bad but none of them are how animals especially big cats should live. They want to stalk hunt prey and fight for territory and run and roam their land freely. No different than humans, in prison criminals get fed 3 times a day and they get to go outside and work out in the yard and catch some sunlight, if you asked 99 percent of prisoners they would choose freedom. I do get what your saying and the zoos that are decent feed animals well and don’t abuse them but most zoos don’t have a lot of money with so called trainers or employees who know nothing and treat these animals like shit behind the scenes. It might seem like a nice beautiful big area with water to us but to tigers lions and other big cats and animals...that is the tiniest little depressing space they are forced to call home.

In wild, animals have to strive much harder..In zoos they get served meal every day, health gets taken care of, even get go breed without fighting other tigers, they don't even have to deal with poaching. While it is to some extent ok for the public to view zoo animals through clear plastic or whatever, it must drive animals a bit insane to be stared at throughout the day. Being purely instinctive creatures, their desire to hunt must be triggered all the time, but to no avail. Viewing screens should only allow visitors to view the animal but not the other way around. It shouldn't be allowed. Thoughtless approach to the keeping of wild animals. They still don't have it right.👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
