Tatiana made the Cleopatra costume herself. I saw a video of her walking up some stairs in the armor. It looked really heavy but apparently it was her favorite outfit in the video. There is another recent video they did called Jinjer | Audiotree From Nothing where they perform three songs from Wallflowers and talk about their writing process, the history of the band and their friendships. It's a great watch.

Tati makes a LOT of her wardrobe herself. Some of it out of stuff she wore in music videos. She is very talented

I didn't know that about the costume(s). I could tell she's pretty creative with the outfits, as with the makeup. The new red outfit is like a hot lady Jedi knight. I love it. And it's versatile, she can layer it differently for different conditions.

Yes! Great reaction. I love the cleans too. Jinjer songs are like a box of chocolates, if you know what I mean. Rogue, the other new song is the complete opposite of this one - all growls. Lyrically it is aimed at Putin and what he is doing to their country, so it fits. Good stuff, thank you!

For a Jinjer song with all clean vocals and no harsh vocals, check out “Bad Water” especially the official live version. This was the song that made me a fan of them. Looking forward to seeing them live on the 1st in Charlotte and the 4th in Myrtle Beach.

Ok I had seen a couple of your other Jinjer reactions a while back, but this one gets the sub! I do think this is one of their better songs. It's certainly one of my favorites. Yep the empowering feminist vibes are strong. As a girl dad I dig that. I'm a proud feminist. You're the first reactor I've seen who emphasized the "ride a broom" line. Most skip right over it, even in very detailed lyric analysis. That was the line that really caught my attention on first listen lol. Maybe that one was directed at her husband Alex lol. As many have said, you don't want to piss Tatiana off! "If you don't take out the trash, you will see me ride a broom!" But seriously, Tatiana is for me one of those inspirational women excelling in a field traditionally dominated by men. The Marie Curies and Frida Kahlos. Quite honestly, Tatiana is for me the best singer in the world. The Queen swinging her sword alone.

As you mentioned, we all know Tatiana is a big fan of Frida, and Frida would seem to fit the song’s theme well, as a strong woman who faced significant health challenges throughout her life. However, here’s why I believe this character isn’t meant to represent Frida. First, Tatiana made the costumes for the other three characters very obvious, so why not for this one? Tatiana has already posted a clear Frida-inspired look on her Instagram, featuring all the signature details: a colorful Mexican scarf, Frida’s crown of braided hair with a red floral headband, and her well-known bold eyebrows. Why would she now choose to make the resemblance so vague? Even the setting in the post doesn’t evoke Mexican culture or La Casa Azul, Frida’s famous home. In contrast, the resemblance to Georgia O'Keeffe is striking in some Google images: the black sleeveless jacket, the white shirt, and the chignon bun closely match O'Keeffe’s style. Also, Georgia and Frida were acquainted in real life, and they had a strong mutual admiration. Some sources suggest that Frida may have written affectionate letters to Georgia, though this is speculative. It’s possible that Tatiana discovered Georgia while researching more about Frida’s life. When Tatiana posted this character on Instagram, she invited people to guess who it was. This could be interpreted as a rhetorical question with an obvious answer (Frida), or as a genuine challenge for fans to figure out the identity. Lastly, Georgia’s story also fits the song’s theme well. Her early career was somewhat overshadowed by her husband, the famous photographer Alfred Stieglitz. However, after moving to New Mexico and establishing her own identity as an artist, she achieved widespread recognition, which intensified after his death.
