Abstract: “The Humanity of Data” will explore the “why” behind analytics. Too often, companies react to the whims and insights in data without considering its broader meaning, impact on the world, or how they can help. This talk will challenge companies to develop a rigorous “rubric of consideration” based in their values so they can avoid chasing trends,
be good stewards of their resources, and focus on their authentic drivers of “why”, “who” and “how”.
