David Bowies "Tonight" is one of Davids best, That along with "Let's Dance" were the soundtrack of my Childhood, I was about Nine or Ten when they came out and the songs were on the radio non-Stop - the Albums are mostly Iggy Pop/David Bowie collaborations Iggy wrote the words and David did The Drugs of the two albums 17 songs he only wrote 7 by himself 5 were written with Iggy. Tonight was a song about a girlfriend overdosing on Drugs, Bowie cut the whole part with her dying out. I've got 2 copies of that Kate Nash album, The Deluxe Edition and the Japanese Version she's "The Better" Lily Allen. I've had that version of the Pet Shop Boys CD but for some reason I sold it, I have the "Very/Relentless" Version and The Standard one - I Have 240 Pet Shop Boys Albums, CDs, LPs,12" & 7" they put out a lot of stuff.

Aussie here. It would be difficult to get a Compact Disc Op Shop haul like this in 2023. Five years ago you could obtain iconic CD titles for next to nothing at charity shops nowadays it is slim pickings!

I must be shopping in the wrong charity shops. I'm only seeing endless Robbie Williams, Kaiser Chiefs, Michael Ball, Jaime Cullum CD albums in the ones I frequent. I always check the CD inside the case before I leave the charity shop, i've experienced the 'wrong CD in the wrong CD jewel case' before, the staff gave me a hard time when I returned it, eventually allowing me to exchange it.

With charity shops it's just a matter of being in the right place at the right time, when new, interesting stock comes in it doesn't last long with the number of crate/rack diggers such as yourself! Occasionally you will find that seam of gold amongst the rock (the Now 64, James Blunt, Adele and Susan Boyle...)

It was the fourth ABC album. The big hit on it was When Smokey Sings. Eat to Beat (Blondie) was also the fourth album, and includes Atomic, Dreaming and Union City Blue.

Having a bunch of CDs does not mean they sound great. Many recordings in the 80s and 90s are trash. Great titles, great artists don't matter. What matter is the quality of the recording.
