I had some great fun with this team, thanks so. much for the showcase! Only positive sets this evening, and the battles I lost were close. I had a fair few Bastidon leads, for which I immediately swap out into Feraligatr and get ahead on energy to either draw out counters and/or get shields, with Gallade sweeping if I end up with shield advantage.

I feel ya on the whole 3-2 2-3 sets these past few days. So many people are running the new meta stuff and for the most part I do okay. But I’ve been running shadow dnair, skeledirge, vigoroth and the amount of teams I see that either have two water types or three water types is in insane. Like one grass type and you’re done. I almost never see coverages for grass types unless it’s a flying type, buts it’s always been mantine or Skarmory with the occasional altaria. People are very ballsy this season and I can understand why as everyone is at the start so they can get away with running crazy teams.

I definitely think that it will level out as we get into the season, so hopefully it does. But the RPS cores and scald debuffing will continue I'm certain.

I've been running Charjabug too. It's ridiculous how many teams are double and even triple weak to it.

I met today Stunfisk with muddy water, Galvantula with only one charged move Discharge, but the best was Venusaur with ehm petal blizzard? No, I like unexpected charged moves. But... muddy water? 😁 Playing just for a year, but feel so old 😁

As mentioned, yeah the name length increased at some point, back on GB cartridges the memory limited the names to 10 characters

It's just early season. You got a bunch of People trying to beat the new meta and everyone, uncluding yourself are trying new stuff almost every set.
