FULL INTERVIEW ON:

SPOTIFY: spoti.fi/3yepEpG
Charlene Tilton steps Behind The Rope. Yes, little Lucy Ewing all grown up. Charlene is here to chat about the full anthology of her career and what it was like being part of one of the most Iconic shows of all time, Dallas. Charlene reminisces about being cast, the early days on set with co-stars such as Larry Hagman, Linda Gray, Patrick Duffy, and Victoria Principal - to name a few, the highs and lows of Lucy Ewing, best and worst storylines for the character, and how life changed as a result of Dallas. Charlene discusses leaving the show after eight seasons, returning several years later, life after Dallas and the positives and negatives of playing one character for so long. Charlene also opens up about her life long friendship with “Uncle” Larry Hagman who was like a real life father to her, his passing, and life after Larry. We discuss the TNT “Dallas Reboot” that ended way too soon a few years ago. Finally, we chat about the future of the Dallas legacy, whether another Reboot is looming on the Horizon and what actresses could play Lucy Ewing is the show were ever recast many years from today. Thank you Charlene. What a fun trip down memory lane regarding one of the best and most iconic TV shows to ever exist!

@@sunnystormy4973 Sunny, these Hollywood interviewers are hired to get the celebrity to dish negative stuff because that is what sells. His channel has interviewed most old Dallas cast members, tried the exact same thing and they each refuted the narrative he tried to push about Victoria Principal. Charlene knew what he was trying to do and she was classy and professional.

Victoria Principal is a very smart, strong, confident woman, which I'm sure did not go over well back in the 80s. I have always admired her determination to do things her way. She also was a former agent, so knew the best type of contract to negotiate, allowing her to do commercials and other 'outside' ventures. As she said, "no one owns me." She's an amazing woman.

I met Larry Hagman in the 1990’s and asked him this very thing because I always liked Victoria and couldn’t understand all the nasty things that were said about her. He told me that Victoria was very conscientious about her work and in the beginning because she didn’t have the same level of experience as most of the cast, she kept to herself in her dressing room learning her lines and trying to dig deeper into the character. And because she was playing the outsider in the family being isolated from rest of the cast helped her play that onscreen. He said that she was a very smart woman and completely professional.
