You only have to listen to her talking to Settellen, a complete stranger. He took all the blame and only started the divorce when the tampon king came out in the press. His son is the godson of Charles... He behaved more like a gentleman than Charles ever did. Knowing the vindictive nastiness of his wife and combined with Charles’s power in society he made a decision. He is not a spring chicken anymore and being a catholic maybe he would be ready to “confess” before he meets his maker ? A little extra money and telling his side of the story could be the extra little push that he needs.

The technical adultery (both Charles' and Diana's) is literally irrelevant. Everyone - including and perhaps especially Diana - was better off when the Waleses uncoupled. Even if no one had "cheated," Charles wasn't going to magically become emotionally available, the marriage still would have sucked, and then Diana would've become the villain because she "forced" Charles to give up the love of his life to play the faithful husband. Diana was a good decade younger than her husband and would have benefited tremendously by waiting a few years to accept anybody's marriage proposal. This is why Catherine and William have such a strong bond. They learned from his parents and waited.

He worked for many years for Charles & Diana and states that misinformation by the tabloids which was believed by the public regarding Charles & Camilla is totally unjust. When Diana fell in love with her married body guard Barry Manakee whom she described as her 'Greatest Love', he had to tell Charles why he had dismissed Manakee from his job and why Diana was angry and distraught. It was only after this in 1986 that Charles & Camilla got back together. Diana was by then in love with her horse riding instructor James Hewitt and spent 5 years appearing in public with Charles on official engagements, but was secretly in love and in a relationship. Diana allowed Charles' reputation to be destroyed and Camilla to be the most hated woman in Britain, choosing not to mention her part in the marriage breakdown, or that she had been happily in love when the world was busy trashing & bashing Charles for leaving Diana 'alone and miserable'. That of course has nothing to do with the incredible humanitarian & much loved public figure Diana was.

When Camilla, Charles & Andrew Parker Bowles were in their 20's Camilla had a brief romance with Charles before he headed off to sea in the Navy. She was in a long term on / off relationship with ladies man Parker Bowles and close friends have said Camilla longed for him to settle down and marry her. Parker Bowles eventually proposed to Camilla and Charles heard the news when he was still away at sea.
