The sand makes the water brown. The ships going in and out of Houston Ship Channel keeps the sand stirred up. Statements like yours shows others your ingnoranvce in the matter. If you don't want to go to Galveston that is fine. Go to Russia. They need your kind.

The water is merky from all the sediment from the Mississippi River. The water will go clear and blue when the wind comes from the east. Our beaches further down the coast are much clear and south padre is crystal clear.

Being born and raised there, he isn’t lying. Worked the umbrella during the summers and man that beach can get gross especially during the red tide. Smelt so bad.
@lynnespringer151311 күн бұрын
Red tide is a naturally-occurring, higher-than-normal concentration of the microscopic algae Karenia brevis (formerly Gymnodinium breve). This algae produces a toxin (brevetoxin) that affects the central nervous system of fish so that they are paralyzed and cannot breathe. Thus they die, They wash ashore and dead fish just does not smell too good. I believe the last time Galveston had it was about 2-3 yrs before the pandemic.

Well, since you're a Houstonian... could you work on that crime issue? You all have had no less than 3 people murdered every night since we opened after the pandemic. Houston has been compared to Chicago. Now, that means it is getting really bad. I have never seen it this bad. And now Finner took the fall for something he didn't do.
