Everything happened right for Jordan. Came in at the right era to get that type of marketing push. He got the right coach and right player to help his success in the 90s. Barkley said in a previous interview, “I said sorry for my part, balls in Jordans court so they can fully recover their friendship!” He went on to say how life too short to hold grudges and he hopes to one day be able to make up with him. But you’re 100% right, Mike wants to surrounded with yes men, which is most likely why he’s been terrible at putting a team together as an owner!

Nah, Charles was a bad friend to him by badmouthing him in public. No one would want someone like that around them. You can forgive, but still keep a distance. Do you not see how he's also now claiming in this interview that Dirk Nowitzki is the greatest foreign player until Jokic, when it's actually Hakeem? Probably because Hakeem put him out of the playoffs at least twice. How disingenous. And Shannon agreeing with him for the internet fame and money, or whatever other nefarious reason he may have for doing so.
